amsParticipantThanks, bud! Vacation was great, but to short. Much oblige on the complements. I’m taking inspiration from all your most recent pics. Awesome stuff! Would you believe I started this whole pic starting with the lion head headgear item? Just sort of took off from there…
Have to get busy on my next creation. Creative juices are flowing…Cheers!
amsParticipantBack from vacation!
Had some thoughts and concepts flow through my head while sitting on the dock. Here the first character for a old/new concept.
THE LION
Cheers!
amsParticipant……crickets……
This thread is on a very much deserved vacation with family. Wish I had a computer available to get some ideas out to you ‘machiners. Will work on a new/old concept when I get home.
Cheers from the lake!
amsParticipantGood to hear from you! Been missing your new stuff for awhile now.
Wondering if you ever saw my pic entry for your contest with The Last Guardian? Check it out, man. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. Cheers!
amsParticipantYES! These last couple are right on the money. Love what you are bringing to the table. The highlighting on White Whale is perfect an the concept of Emma and BUB is awesome. Great job!
Cheers!
amsParticipantThank you ‘machiners!
I actually went and looked back at how many insignia shapes I used for both pics. Deducting a couple for non masked items, I used 17 shapes for STEEL WOLF and 25 for AGENT 42X to mask articles to my wishes. I am surprise not more, sure felt like it. Total item count for both were roughly 185.
@ Lightningsword – The Belt is made from a steel collar from Neckwear and a couple of shapes. The “V” is created by using a triangle shape with a torso masked to it, giving the illusion of the “V”.
@ livewyre – If I could only tap into some of your ideas and creativity. I’m very stale for new concepts.
@ Nug – That is the fun in Heromachine. Trying to figure out how someone built custom items. But you need only ask, I’m pretty transparent on techniques. Maybe something I do gives someone else the spark to create new techniques to evolve the machine. I know I have learnt much from old and new users. It’s all perspective….and thanks for the compliments!
Big ol’ Cheers!
amsParticipantThanks ‘ machiners!
Here are 2 original characters from deviantart members, Ursa Magnus and mja 42x. You can check out their stuff at these links – http://ursamagnus.deviantart.com/ and http://mja42x.deviantart.com/
STEEL WOLF (original character by Ursa Magnus)
AGENT 42X (original character by mja 42X)

amsParticipantHere are my Character files renamed for the Villains contest…..
amsParticipantC’mon! Terrier didn’t make the Power Force team? Got to put him on the team, dude. The more I see his pic, the more I like him. I now see him with a Deadpool, pain in the a$$ attitude, but a hero to the end. Comedy relief for your squad.
Cheers!
amsParticipantGreat foundations for both images. I’d like to see the hacker with some tattoos.
Lookin’ forward to seeing the finished products.
amsParticipantHey, Doctor Who stole my idea..!
Kidding. I don’t watch Doctor Who and just google imaged the episode. I see the what you guys are talkin’ about just from a couple of images. When pulling this pic out of my head, I was thinking more down the lines of the many pics I have seen in Heavy Metal mags in the past. Especially the Heavy Metal movie with the World War II segment about the b-52 bomber. That was a spooky cartoon!
Thanks for the comments! Cheers!
amsParticipantWhoa! Nice highlights/shading!
amsParticipantVery original characters with a dab of fantastic! Always top notch concepts. Cheers!
amsParticipantAwesome! I picture him five foot nothing and yells a lot. Great character.
Cheers!
amsParticipantLooks great! Welcome back!
