Next up is torrent.

Torrent received his powers when he was researching renewable energy. He was experimenting a mysterious energy emitting crystal when the machine exploded, bombarding him with a strange kind of radiation. He later discovered he had developed the ability to project beam of energy out of the palms of his hands. As he began to understand his power more he became able to project different kinds of energy, such as concussive blasts. He worked alone for a time using his powers to fight crime but then later joined the legendary legion.

Also i updated Captain Inferno’s costume a bit.

Well as previously Ariceel; one of the most powerful and unpredictable characters in my universe, is the son of the overseer and an alien queen. Well here she is Ellerenta, queen of the serakian empire.

On her home planet she grew up daughter of an engineer who worked for the military, having spent a lot of her childhood around soliders she developed an interest in the art of war. She decided to receive training from a good friend of her fathers and became very proficient in fighting. As she grew older she displayed disgust in the state of the serakian society, so she took matters into her own hands. She secretly started a rebelion drawing the king men away, so less security was available when he was appearing public to give a speech . During the speech she leaped on staged and beheaded him in front of the crowd, declaring herself queen. Unsuprisingly nobody was willing to stand in her way.

Later as a new threat reached her empire she allied with the Overseer and they eventually got married. But he grew fed up of her and left her when see was pregnant with his son, and breaking the alliance between the powers. It is well known that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, especially a warring alien queen. She reserves a deep hatred for the overseer and helped fight the overseer alongside the heroes of earth, later leading to a treaty with mankind.  She is currently out with her royal force searching for her son after hearing reports of him being alive.

Recently i have taken a particular interest in Norse mythology. So i decided that my universe would meet the Norse gods.

When the overseer attacked earth the guardian was attempting to open a portal for reinforcements from a pocket dimension of his creation called Custodius. But after he was interrupted when opening the portal he instead opened up a portal to the realm of the Norse gods, several of the gods managed to get through and upon seeing the battle and be convinced to help, they  fought alongside the heroes of earth. After this a treaty was made between the two realm and a permanent portal was made at the legendary legion base so they could help each other if needed. Though the gods haven’t always seen eye to eye with mankind, they generally fight for the greater good and the god Baldur has even become a permanent resident of earth joining the legendary legion as a full member.

Who better to start with than Odin, so here he is with his spear Gungnir.

Odin being a god and all possesses incredible strength and is virtually immortal.  He also carries many enchanted artifacts with various enchantments.

Before i post some more norse gods though here are a few of my less godly creations.

First up is Analysis. As a child she was a computer genius, she built her first computer aged six and managed to bypass international firewall when she was a teen, though she did this for fun and never stole any classified data. As a adult she started a computer company at the forefront of the market. She was involved in a project to link the human mind to computer and volunteered as a test subject. Out of 50 subject she was the only success. She could use her mind to link up to computer networks, control linked devices and could search the internet without even using a computer. She later developed the ability to project holograms. After releasing the potential power of what she had created she shut down the project and deleted all data on it. Her company soon after went bust as investor pulled out after the elimination her most revolutionary project. She later joined the legendary legion and is a valuable member of the team though she rarely gets involved in field work.

Next is surge a villain with the power to turn his body into pure energy, in this form he can teleport short distances and is extremely powerful. Though he has to charge up his powers and this process can be interrupted leaving him vulnerable. It is unknown how he received is powers as is his real identity. He recently joined up with other villains to form the evil organisation the black syndicate.

And finally is Shadestalker. This hero is a mystery, nobody know his real identity and though working with both the night watch and the legendary legion he has no long term commitments to either team. Shadestalker is at the peak of human fitness, His cape allows him to glide long distance and his gloves have claw that can also generate electric pulses. It is unknown if he has any true super power but he is very stealth and often appears from the shadow without warning. His secretive nature has brought him into conflict with several heroes.

Always nice to some the Norse gods are still somewhat up and running.

I grew up with the old myths, and while your interpretation of Oden isn’t exactly like mine, it’s still pretty damn awesome 🙂

The interpretation off Odin can vary from different sources, some depict him as war-like and quick to violence, whereas some depict him as wise elder.

I chose to make him more off a warrior because this means he prevent a threat to earth even though he often helps and means that there is room for conflict between the Asgard and earth.

Next up from the realm of Asgard is Baldr the god of light and purity,son of Odin and Frigg. When the gods came to earth and saw the war going on many suggest they go home and not get involved and others even suggest attacking mankind but Baldr couldn’t stand by and what as innocent people died. He was the first to go into battle to aid them and help convince Odin that helping them was the right thing too do. As most asgardian went home after sighing the treaty, he decide to stay on earth at mankind’s side and joined the legendary legion. He has the chracteristics of super strength and virtual immortality like most gods but he also can generate light and fire blast as well as having an extraordinary sense of morality and justice. He is the main peacekeeper between Asgard and earth during disagreements.

Also is Nightingale a member of the night watch. She was a reporter for a time but after seeing the evil in her city she decided to fight crime using the power she was born with. She became a hero 2 years before the formation of the night watch and joined soon after its creation. She has super heightened sense which she can focus on specific targets and she is naturally gifted fighter who has already mastered most fighting techniques. She is romantically involved with grenadier.

Heres a new hero for the legendary legion, Pulsefire. Aged 17 Pulsefire is the youngest member of the legandary legion and his immaturity often annoys some of the more serious members such as zealot. But in reality his immaturity is a mask to cover up his dark past. Pulsefire never new his parents; his father a drug dealer and his mother a prostitute, he grew up in an orphanage often abused by the uncaring owner. One day one of the his friends suffered a serious injury and ended up in hospital but the corrupt police force did nothing. Enraged he took matters into his own hands, he confronted the owner, who then struck him to the floor and said he would kill him if he told anybody.  His anger boiled up inside and suddenly a blast erupted from his hand sending the owner flying through the window and landing on the street below, he was paralyzed and Pulsefire was put in juvenile detention. He was later released when the scandal was unveiled when the corruption in the police force was rooted out. Soon after released he was approached by the the legendary legion who offered to help him learn to control his powers. He power allow him to project pulse blasts from his hands.

Ok got a few new creations to show.

First up is The Remnant. One time this creatures host was alive and fully human. She was an archaeologist exploring deep catacombs in Egypt when she came across a golden tablet with a skull engraved in it. It fascinated here and she reached to pick it up out of the dirt. As she touched a dark cloud rose out of it and forced its way into here eyes and down her throat.  The crackling of bone could be heard as here teeth began to protrude and lengthen, bony spikes tore out of her arms, she grew claws,  her eyes turned red and glowing and her skin lost all it colour. Immediately the creature sought out prey making its way to the nearest village and tearing apart all its residents. The creature is incredibly strong and fast, has razor sharp teeth and claws, is virtually invulnerable and has an uncontrollable blood lust. It eventually escaped Africa and came into conflict with the legendary legion, in the end being killed by zealot. But the beast has left its host and returned to its tablet waiting for the next unlucky explorer.

Next is The Magician a criminal with magical talents.   He can teleport, fire energy out of his cane and create illusions. He is a small time villain having only occasionally come into conflict with heroes, mainly just performing small time robberies.  Though his power are gradually strengthening.

Dusk is the first member of the British superhero team the Crusaders. He is the team leader. His powers mean he can manipulate shadows and conceal himself. He was born with his powers but is still learning to control them completely. The team was  formed when he saved a wealthy old man was being mugged by a super powered gang. In the news he was portrayed as a criminal being reckless and putting the mans life in danger. Bu the old man new this wasn’t true and released how the public feared those gifted with superpowers so he decided to create a refuge for super powered individual and to fund them as heroes so he seeked out super powered individuals and they formed a team that he called the crusaders.

Here is my most recent creation, the evil champion of death and war Malvetus. Malvetus is thousands of years old originally created by a dark mage from a primal tribe who had discovered a scroll of unknown origin. He read out the scroll and suddenly the ground before him burst into dark flames and from the ashes rose a dark figure who immediately murdered his creator and the entire tribe. He has been the inspiration behind many myths and legends in ancient culture, his current name is from roman times. It is derived from the Latin words malum meaning evil and vetus meaning old one. He came into conflict with the legendary legion after destroying a village. He was a difficult opponent but was eventually exile to another realm by eclipse. Though he was recently returned by lord varamount and now acts as his right-hand man.

Ok here are two non superhero related pieces i put together.

The first, Roost of the Beast, is the mountain home of a powerful dragons who rains down destruction on the surrounding towns and villages.

And the other is just the sun-rising behind earth in space.
