Nah, I think they work great. Earthy browns and greens with pure white as a spot colour; very harmonic.

I hope no-one minds my sharing, but just for fun I decided to do a hand-drawn-and-coloured version of my barbarian. Annoyingly though, my scanner doesn’t really do the colours justice, since I had used warmer and colder greys as well, but nevermind. Hope you enjoy anyway:
