The Atomic PunkParticipantFinal entry and a personal favorite, a take on the guardian angel and devil.

WeilynMemberOh, the agony of choice.
Great ide, I like it a lot

The Atomic PunkParticipantThanks, Weilyn. I wish I had some way to turn “Ethical Dilemma” into an animated short.
Also, thanks to everyone who pops in now and then to view my retrospect. I’ve been in a real funk. Not much on the creative side. Going through my old material is a great diversion.
Character Contest 71 – In the Cards
Ok, I skipped a number or two somewhere. Moving on. The challenge this time was to design cards such as playing or tarot or card-themed characters.
Here are two versions of my “Goblin King.” I prefer the inverse color scheme.
Goblin King: Version 1
Goblin King: Version 2

Character Contest 71 – In the Cards
As the saying goes, there’s no place like home:
And since that was such a cheap gag, here’s another entry. Dominoes are tiles not cards. Still, it is a parlor game. I love playing dominoes. Particularly the classic (now politically incorrect) Mexican Train with double-six high.

HammerknightParticipantCool dominoes.

The Atomic PunkParticipantCharacter Contest 71 – In the Cards
A playing card from the popular drinking game “Bar Tabs.” My favorite game is “Shut up and drink your beer.”

The Atomic PunkParticipantI knew that I skipped a number. Continuing with the Zodiac: Leo. I went with an obvious reference. Most historians say that he was born on September 13th, which makes him a Virgo. My straight-forward depiction of “The Absent King,” Richard CÅ“ur de Lion.

The Atomic PunkParticipantThe first version of this character sports the colors of a famous blue Boy Scout. It just didn’t say “anthropomorphic meta-lion rushing to save the Masai Mara” to me. So I re-did his color scheme with the green, red, and black of the national flag of Kenya.
Also, I posted the text for the brushfire in Natural Backgrounds (Landscapes, Forests, Mountains, etc.).

SeraphMemberLeo made me smile. That high kick! So David Lee Roth! Hair bands were so much ridiculous fun!
November 13, 2012 at 9:14 pm #13638
The Atomic PunkParticipantThanks, guys. The pose is a modified Recipe. And I love my glam and hair bands. David Lee Roth, under-rated song is “Just Like Paradise.”
A tribute to a favorite show. Too bad Laura Prepon went from red to blonde. When I talk about Laura Prepon, I’m like Lola on Looney Tunes. Yeah, wrap your brain around that. And cool that Tommy Chong was cast on a show that was originally titled “Teenage Wasteland.”
Leo – Working at Grooves; hanging with Schatzi.
