darkshadeParticipantHi. Been doing this heromachine thing for a while but never posted.
Made some various characters in boredom. They’re meant to represent characters in a fantasy/steampunkish story I’m writing. Anyhow here they are. Unique = named creature, generic = just a general idea of what it’d look like. Image heavy, sorry.
“Emissary” unique human concept
“Nessa” unique elf early concept
“Nessa” unique elf final version and variations

Looking for input on which ones look better than the rest.
There are also some things i made that aren’t from the mentioned story. They’re original designs but they’re from game franchises so I’m not sure whether or not I’m allowed to put them up here? Let me know and I’ll remove them if it’s against the “no copyright” rule thing.
“Eldar Farseer” (Warhammer) put a few hours of work into this one, probably the most complicated i’ve gotten with HM3
“Vessrana” (SWTOR) Miraluka Jedi Shadow
“Vampire Hunter” (VTM/World of Darkness)

Herr DParticipant“Nightmare” edges out “Emissary” for me as best. You might mask weapons to hands for the improved effects.

darkshadeParticipantwhen i try to mask something on “handright” or “handleft” it doesn’t do it for some reason. the only way i could do it for the “nessa” early concept was by using the spandex gloves in the Tops slot as hands

Herr DParticipantIt only masks over the thumbs, to line up with an identical item underneath the hand. That way it looks like the whole hand is wrapped around it. Try it again, you’ll see.
