    Bravo, Scatman! I am trying to pick apart what is potentially wrong with King Kilial but he just keeps getting more awesome. Tone, colors, depth, placement, pose… man… he is testament why I consider HeroMachine to be art.

    Originally meant for JR19759’s redisign contest this was in most inspired by his character.Seein’ as I forgot the red in the color scheme I chose to keep it here sinceIam having a problem puttin’ in my other thread.Hope you like it.

    Let’s be honest, it didn’t even need the red, you’d have got exactly the same reaction from me either way. However, his grip on the sword is off, it’s really weird. Either he shouldn’t be holding the sword or his hand should be in a different position.

    Hey Scat, just a suggestion, but for the weird positioning of the sword hilt, maybe try putting the sword on his back and put the polearm in both hands? Again, just a suggestion for thinking about. Don’t let me tell you what to do!

    I think it’s that the sword is behind the spear, but judging from the hand it should be in front.
    Despite that little nitpick, the design and shading are magnificent!

    Honestly, I missed the sword thing because I was blinded by the gold effect and all the detailed work. Great looking character!
