Herr DParticipantI call this one ‘First FULL Contact.’ Hopefully both parties had insurance.

LucMemberWell, looks like its been a week once again, so time to pick out a winner. You guys did a lot better with the item choices than I would have for sure, some really creative uses here and they’re all great entries. Buuut there can only be one winner, and this week that winner is RobM! The Cootie Bot was not only a clever use of every item, but also just a very clever and unique design all around. Well done!

LucMemberI found myself humming the Indiana Jones theme while making this one. Here, we see through the eyes of a treasure hunter, as he’s Raiding the Tomb of The Teddy King.

RobMParticipantTime to select the winner – the person who I felt used the items imaginatively and produced a nice illustration –
LUC
Congrats; don’t spend it all in one place.

LucMemberSorry about the small wait there, just figured it’d be a good idea to wait until Monday to post this week’s items, so that we’ll be starting at the actual start of the week. That said, here they are.
They can be found in:
Body – Monster
Belt – Standard
Headgear – ModernGood luck!

Herr DParticipantSeventeen different species went into the original Operation: Herring Deep. The Naval Corps of Genengineers devised the recombinant patterns of DNA and double- and triple-checked the final surgical protocols. These protocols had to include complete removal of developing brain lobes eleven times to prevent sentience developing, as well as what was projected to be a life full of pain, insanity, and uncontrollable rages.

Later iterations of the R. D. S. class excluded starfish DNA, which substantially lowered the incidence of such crafts turning on their crews. Here is the maiden voyage of the U. S. Fintacle.**Editor’s note: Those hats, elongated, make EXCELLENT torpedo-fish. Pleasant surprise! Belated congratulations to RobM and Luc.

LucMemberOne week later and only two entries, but a tough decision regardless. MithrilFrog’s Gentlemen Creatures had a lot of charm, however I felt Herr D used the parts in a much more unique way and in the end, the use of the flipped seal/walrus body to create a flying creature won me over, so take it away, Herr D!
June 18, 2013 at 12:52 am #26366
Herr DParticipantmmmmm Your decision won’t change if it was swimming, will it? Maybe I should have added ripples or fish silhouettes. I was imagining a maneuver where it was bending to dive to it’s right.
Okay. If I’m still it, I choose: 1. Hair/standard next to last item, the straight horn next to the unicorn horn.
2. ItemRight/Polearms 2nd spear point, first group, four across, bottom row.
3. ShoulderRight/Tech, last group, the three spikes in a curve formation.
I’m at work, so the server won’t let me make a pic of them now. If anyone has trouble finding these, PM me.
Btw, Mith? I would’ve offered to join that club–‘to talk of many things,’ had I the time. -
