Not sure if that made any kind of sense… I’m a bit unsure about my English tonight.
Here’s a picture to illustrate my point. I don’t mean to be condescending, I’m just insecure about my ability to make myself clear.

Thanks, Weilyn. I understood you perfectly. I may redo the Queen trying the mace in segments. I’m getting better but still learning.

Didn’t mean to ignore you, Maaz. Just didn’t have the right words at the time. As soon as I finished One Eyed Jack, I said to myself, “Damn, he looks like a big poof!” I was more concerned with offending someone than receiving criticism. I also started to call him Jack of Hearts but I know Marvel has a character with that name. Also trying to avoid any possible association to DC’s Royal Flush Gang.

Yeah, making weapons in segments hold many advantages, not the least of which being that you can combine many different colours to the same object.
You’ve got some great creations, here. Can’t wait to see more

Thanks again, Weilyn. Let me know what you think of the Ace of Diamonds. Also, for anyone, I sized her up to almost the maximum, trying to imply the density of a diamond. When I went for a close up, she went back to normal size. That’s the first time that happened. Any ideas, anyone? When I tried shading with this one I only noticed a slight difference in the diamond insignia on her forhead. Again, any help or ideas will be appreciated. Ace of Diamonds…

KING OF SPADES. I’ll try to come up with a cohesive backstory to tie Ace, King, Queen and Jack together later. Right now, I got nothin’! Except, I already had it in my head that Ace of Diamonds is as hard as a diamond. Mutant, alien, genetically enhanced, I don’t know yet.

Here are my entries for Kailyn’s King Arthur contest, Morgana Le Fay and Queen Guinevere. Also, my take on Thor, keeping more with the tradition mythological description. Tried a little highlighting with Thor; understand the how to better, now just have to develop my eye for using it tastefully.

Thanks Weilyn. But you can see by looking at Guinevere and Thor my masking is still hit or miss. I just noticed I put a second colseup of Ace instead of a closeup of King of Spades. Here’s that and a remade One Eyed Jack. The white spandex made him look too….. Everything is the same except the tights are black and I put a tat on his left bicep. Maybe he should be called BlackJack now, or stay One Eyed Jack? I’ll take suggestions.

Small tip: remember to use eyebrows. They’re easy to miss, but faces tend to look a bit weird without them.

SHANGO THE THUNDERER! Shango is the Yoruba God of fire, thunder and lightning. Also known as The Hurler of Stones and The Bringer of Storms. He brings the thunder and lightning by hurling stones upon the ground and where the lightning strikes, stones with the shape of Shango’s double headed axe are said to be left behind. Shango is depicted carrying his double headed axe and sometimes also with a thunder rod. His colors are red and white. Many European gods are said to be variations of African gods.

What started out as a bit of highlighting practice turned into a new character, master burglar/supervillain One Armed Bandit. Sorta, kinda inspired by the kung fu movies The Crippled Masters and The Chinese Professionals. Both featured a badass beating the crap out of everybody, the first with no arms, the second with one arm. So I thought how badass would a guy be with one arm kicking ass and pulling big robberies. No backstory; kinda tapped out at the moment. Advice and opinions always welcome.
