Mr. VaudevilleParticipantSo, I’m going to start posting the profiles of the 9 Mutant Syndicate characters and get them out of the way ASAP. I’ll come back to the posts later to fill in the origin stories, as I’m doing with the previous characters.
After this group, I’ll move on to the next lot of heroes and villains. Thanks in advance for bearing with me, I know some of the designs for these characters are similar, which gets boring.
The universe I’m creating is really starting to come together in my head. Once I have most of the important heroes and villains (and teams) in this gallery, I’ll get round to writing some of their stories and arcs in the relevant forum. Hopefully I’ll be learning all the tools and tricks of Heromachine as I go and the art will improve.

I’m thinking he was born with a genetic mutation that got worse over time, resulting in how he looks now. His skin mutated and turned grey, becoming harder and thicker, eventually turning into something that looks and acts like solid stone, but still sort of works as skin (nerves, blood vessels, etc.)
I hope that’s a good explanation. I’m still working on how/why a lot of these characters have their ‘powers’. 😀

Obsessed with genetics and especially fascinated by mutant genes, he jumps at the chance to perform genetic surgery on mutants to enhance their abilities and appearance, often tinkering with his own genes and testing procedures on himself with mixed success. Incredibly intelligent, almost constantly processing new information and working on his ‘science’. Fortunately for the world, his often paranoid behaviour and many insane, obsessive quirks prevent him from being the truly serious threat he has the potential to be. He works for the Mutant Syndicate in exchange for funding.

I’m working on it. 😉
I’ve got some ideas for a story arc where my first set of Heroes (IFL) fight the Mutant Syndicate. If I get the time, I’ll start posting it in the writers forum soon.
At the very least, I’m trying to come up with characters that would make an interesting fight. I’d like to create some images with multiple characters, possibly mid-fight, but I’m clearly a long way off having the skill for that at the moment. 🙂
