So I have a thread here http://www.heromachine.com/forums/topic/yet-another-new-campaign-from-barbario/ but I think it is closed or dead or something so I wanted to post some new art from more recent “episodes.”
So it is an epic campaign based on a popular comic series where the pcs are monster hunters for a government agency. You all know which one. They have a big red guy with a stone fist. that will be all I say so as not to step on any toes.
We have been playing or 5 years now. Several different “series” that follow their characters and “alt” characters over the years. It is mostly real time. Recent events have been reflecting real world politics.
I have worked in other characters from other properties including a 110 yr old archaeologist and adventurer known for fighting Nazis. A half-vampire that walks in the day and a bunch of girls who had their potentials awoken buy magic to also fight vampires. (I actually had the vampires basically disappearing because they lost so much power from these heroes killing them off. )
The characters have changed and grown. Some died and one went evil and the player became so uncontrollable and disrupted so I had to ban him from the game. But it created a whole new angle for the story.
My buddy who’s a writer and comedian has been helping me write it and it’s become this really indepth story and without railroading the players. They still decide the outcomes thru their actions, we just have this entire world to react and influence them.
