CDC- National Heroes/ finally back at the Machine!

1. Great White North: The Armored Canuck!
Attempts to recreate Bilford’s supersoldier serum are made every so often, despite multiple failures. The latest recruit to the program was Major Kincaid ‘Kin’ Westmere, a veteran who was partially paralyzed while on a tour of duty. While the new serum did not grant him the physical powers intended, it heightened his intelligence to off-the-charts levels. He used this to build a suit that allowed him the strength, durability, and powers of flight he had sought. He has taken the name of Great White North, in homage to the heroine True North.

2. Gloriana: Chosen of Avalon
Lottie Alden was enjoying a long-overdue trip to the sea. While on a boat ride with friends, a freak squall blew up and capsized the boat. Lottie found herself washed up on an unfamiliar island, full of strange creatures, magic, and a group of ethereal women. Their leader named herself as Vivian, and the women as priestesses, and that Lottie had been chosen by the Island of Avalon as a Champion of Light. She was imbued with mystical powers that gave her, among other gifts, strength, agility, and durability. She was also given Avalon’s Might, the sword of the Champion. Back in the world, Lottie created a costume for herself, and took for a name Gloriana, one of the titles of Queen Elizabeth I in her fight against both the mystical and the mundane.

Ah Ku- ruthless drug queen and gang boss. Descendant of the original Ah Ku and inherited her position after arranging the death of her father. Her outward appearance is of a tough businesswoman, though most don’t realize that much of her business is illicit. Her actions should never be confused with compassion, as any ‘good’ she may do has an ulterior motive.

CDC- Here Come the Girls!

The Commander watches them ride over the rise, banner in hand. The Hydra, bright blue on black, a symbol to strike fear into lesser men. And lesser men they were, overgrown children throwing their weight about to prop themselves up. She had not put on her helm, and she could see their haughtiness waver as they recognized her. Heavens help them all should they find themselves facing the edge of her blade.

Phaeya Half-Dwarven- First cousin of Lutair the Hero, Phaeya was tolerated because her mother was sister to the king and to avoid an incident with her father’s human family. She left Stoneguard to find her way in the world, the only sign of her grudging status her dragonling, Krimson. She is a powerful battlemage via her human heritage and retains her dwarven connection to the Underground though she is an outsider to both worlds.

Karalya- a member of the Ebon Guard of Sandhaven, Karalya is as dedicated to her city as a zealot to a god. The last thing she wants is to be caught up in the adventures of a surly half-dwarf. However, if it means protecting her home, she is willing to do whatever it takes.

Very happy with this one, especially considering I haven’t had much HM time lately.

Rolanna Blood-Eyes- Reborn in the fires of her burning village by two death goddesses, Rolanna wields the mighty Blade Sephnath. She is the most powerful and most feared Warrior of all those who serve the light gods.
