HammerknightParticipantWelcome to the world of the Magistic Knights. These are my babies, and I want to share them with you. They were born from an idea for a book that I had, but never did it. They can be a character class for an RPG or other things. A short background on them.
On the world of Atlantica (my fantasy world for most of my stuff) there was a fight between good and evil raging. Two wizards were hold off the evil and were about to destroy it. Arden was a wizard with the magic of Fire and Pardeep was a wizard with the magic of Light, they were long time friends, closer then brothers even. Together they were about to but an end to Drogo the Evil Dark Lord. Drogo knowing that his defeat was near sent his daughter Rhianna to try and bewitch the two wizards. Rhianna was able to make each wizard fall in love with her and they began to fight over her. This weaken the wizards, so much that they were about to die. But thank the heavens that they realized what was about to happen. Rhianna showed her true self to the wizards right before she was going to make the fatal blow. Arden and Pardeep focused their magic together, which has never been done before because of the fear of what may come of it. Their magic erupted into a giant ball of fire and light and destroyed Rhianna and most of her fathers army, and weaken Drogo to a near death. The two wizards faded away never to be seen again. Drogo went into hiding fearing that in his weaken state he would be easy pray.
Over the years it was told that the power of the two wizard would one day return in the form of a child. This child would be the guardian of Atlantica and forever fight the evil darkness. Drogo sent his henchmen out into the world trying to fine this child. On an island in the middle of the Magistic lake (the largest lake on the world) was an order of monks that have devoted their lives to finding the child and protecting it. These Monks were some of the best train warriors the world has ever saw. The monks set out to fine the child and were guild by the magic that was now called “firelight”. None of the monks had the magic or even knew of its power, they only followed the direction in which it took them. The time had come and the news that the child was to be born spread across the lands. One group of monks had located the child and rushed to protect it. Drogo's men were hot on their heels. The monks took the child and its family with them and headed back to Magistic lake. They journey was a hard one and many battle took place along the way.
Once they arrived at the lake and traveled across to the island, the monks were shocked at what they were seeing. There were other groups of monks there, and each one had a child with them. The legend was wrong, the was not just one child that was born with the firelight magic, there were several child born with the magic. The monks began the children's training. They were trained in many arts of fighting and magic. Firelight still had not showed its true power. One day while two young men were training with swords the firelight showed itself. Rowan and Davan, two of the older children were in the middle of training when Rowan's sword broke at the hilt, not wanting to end training so soon the two boys began to act like they were still fighting. A spark of light came from the end of Rowan's hilt and took the shape of the swords blade right when he was taking a swing at Davan's sword. Sparks exported and Davan's sword fell to the ground, cut in half as if it was mere butter to a hot knife. Training stopped at once. After finding out about the power other children tried their hand at it. Only the older ones were able to bring the power to life. One girl found out the hard way that the magic should not be used bare handed. Eirene was but a few days younger then Rowan and Davan and wanted to try her hand at the magic. Unlike the other children, she did not try using the hilt of a broken sword, she tried her bare hand. As she imaged the firelight in her mind coming from her hand it appeared, but the magic turned into a ball of fire and burned off her hand. It did not bleed but the pain was intense. After this none of the children were allowed to try it bare handed. The children would become the “Magistic Knights.”
Â
Unknown to the monks Drogo's henchmen were able to beat them to a few of the children. They didn't take the children's family with them, they killed them right then and there so that no one would know that they had taken the child. Drogo used his dark magic to turn the children evil. It took them longer to harness the magic power then it did the children that were trained by the monks. The dark magic that Drogo had trained them in changed the firelight. It was darker and could stain the air around it with the smell of brimstone and rot the flesh off it's kill, it became known as Devil's Breath. And the children would come to be know as “The Hands of Hell.”
Â
Okay that is the back story of the Magistic Knights. Here is what I would like to see. Please post picture of what you believe the knights and other characters would look like. No need for wild crazy images, just clean cut art. Remember these are my babies so treat them so. I have wanted to share them with all of you for some time now. Please treat them the way you would treat one of your onw children.
Â
Remember the magic can not be used bare handed, it must travel through an object. Examples are, a swords hilt, the handle of a whip, the grip of a bow, or a glove. One that I like is the grip of a bow and the firelight forms the limbs and string of the bow and the other hand wears a glove the the arrows come from. I hope that you all enjoy.
P.S. Please over look bad spelling. Thank you.

Dionne JinnMemberYou should try and plan a RPG for this that people could play right here on the forum. The story idea sounds nice.

HammerknightParticipantI was having to make a new folder for each file. You can create folders with in other folders. I'm not fully sure if you can add other pictures to a folder.

You know what, because I just want to share my image with you, I’m going to pretend I’m on the blog and post a link to Photobucket:
I thought I’d try making one of the Knights and this is what came out. Pretty obvious I know, but what do you think? Edit: hey, I discovered an alternate method that doesn't need the toolbar! Woot!
