Thank you. I think there’s definitely a lot of different influences from various science fiction movies, since I’ve enjoyed many of those in my “long” life.

Before I proceed to a different (and yet somehow related) subject, I give you a team of intergalactic bounty hunters. I can’t think of a cool badass sounding name for them at the moment, so suggestions would be more than welcome.

THE CREW OF THE STARSHIP “PEACEMAKER”:

As usual from left to right and front to back:

Real name: Sliyab Z’kai Nom de guerre: Slither Species: Oo’kuna Traits/Special abilities: Reptilian with enhanced strength and healing, poison fangs. Extremely agile and flexible.

Real name: Thi Ra’ag Nom de guerre: She-Wolf Species: Eza Tem Traits/Special abilities: Humanoid with the ability to transform gradually into a (were)wolf like creature.

Real name: Tesha’ar Yaqan Nom de guerre: Surge Species: H’oth Traits/Special abilities: Energybased lifeform that can produce, control, and manipulate electric energies.

Real name: Hunter Grimaldi Nom de guerre: Grim Hunter Species: Human Traits/Special abilities: Human from Earth (abducted as a baby by aliens and raised in the slavepits of Karka’dum) with vastly heightened senses, enhanced reflexes and unable to feel pain. Extremely dangerous!

Real name: Atto’Jay Tujas Nom de guerre: Dragonhead Species: Delphians Traits/Special abilities: Tall and scrawny Amphibian who is capable to breath and spit fire as well as to “breath” under water and in vacuum.

Real name: A’haz Tul’san Nom de guerre: Little Green Man (LGM) Species: Marusian Traits/Special abilities: Runtish Humanoid with tremendous telepathic and telekinetic abilties.

Real name: Vhag’torn Da’adh Nom de guerre: K9 Species: Apo’eshi Traits/Special abilities: Anything but thin-skinned Canine Humanoid with a temper as well as superhuman strength and durability due to his rockhard impenetrable skin.

Real name: M4N807 Nom de guerre: Manbot Species: unknown / Synthadroid Traits/Special abilities: An artificial techno-organic being with a colossal humanoid appearance from unknown origins with the abilities to synch with any technology to control it and metamorphing his body to adapt to any given situation. His shape-shifting abilities also allows him to mimic forms as well as weapons.

Nice group. Is their purpose Peacekeeping? Peace Squad #6 is a good name if you include that the first five didn’t survive and their numbers were retired out of respect for their service. If they aren’t part of an organization, you might call them Bonders, saying that they formed the group by taking a vow to yada yada ya and blah blah bleep. It’s always more interesting to me when a group runs out of their original purpose than when a group needlessly tussles over the beginning.

Thanks! And no, they are a independently working group of intergalactic bounty hunters. Peacemaker is the name of their ship – which is a tribute to the Colt Single Action Army Revolver as well as the aircraft Convair B-36.

Nice idea, but I’m looking for something really badass sounding. Like “The Rippers” but maybe a bit more space-related? I guess I do not really know exactly what I’m looking for, but when I found it, I’ll know it. Does that sound logical? Hmmm …

Hmm, I might pick up the underlying idea of that. I could make them a group of former peacekeepers living on the outskirts of society and working as bounty hunters and soldiers of fortune, while on the run from the authorities after being branded as criminals for a “crime they didn’t commit”. Basically, a kind of “A-Team” meets “Firefly” and more dirty version of “Star Trek”.

Thank you very much. But the credits for the background have to go to Harlekin who made it and posted in the Custom Items Archive / Backgrounds. I simply spiced it up a little with textures, a darker space and the earth/moon combo…

Thanks! Seems like everyone likes Manbot the best – and nobody mentions the riddickulous obvious movie inspiration in that group shot. Poor guy…
