LucMemberHere’s a character for something I haven’t done much with lately, the seventh and final member of Dragonstongue’s pantheon of gods, Solina the goddess of magic and knowledge.

JR19759KeymasterAwesome, those are some of the best tattoos I’ve seen done on HM. What part is the stomach tattoo, because I don’t recognise it?
December 15, 2012 at 1:55 am #15594
LucMemberThe stomach tattoo was made using the sort of evil looking spellbook under ItemRight – Misc, with the line colour and primary colour set to 0 alpha leaving just the middle part used as the tattoo, and the corner bindings (One of which was also used as a tattoo, just bellow her right breast).

LucMemberAnd now back to FIEND.
Sting
Another of Marvin’s experiments, Sting was made as a sort of brother to Arachna, given features of a scorpion rather than a spider. He relies much more on brute strength than his sister does, and his tail contains a strange chemical that weakens anyone injected with it… However, if Sting injects himself with the chemical it only serves to boost his already incredible strength.

LucMemberHere’s the start of a new little group I’m working on, known as The Sinners. Believe it or not in their story, these are the good guys. A group of seven individuals suffering from a demonic curse, each one representing one of the deadly sins. Although they are hardly heroic individuals themselves, they are forced to work together to stop an even more vile threat that intends to eliminate all of humanity as we know it. So, here are the first three Sinners: Wrath, Greed, and Gluttony.
Wrath
Perhaps the most aggressive of The Sinners’ seven members, Wrath had always had violent tendencies and an extremely short fuse. Spending her childhood in various orphanages after her parents were slaughtered by the same monster that cursed her and the other Sinners made her quite unstable, especially when the curse caused her to grow a pair of horns and the unholy mark upon her face. Outcast by other children she began to lash out against them and get into fights, which lead to her constantly being transferred to new orphanages where the cycle would only repeat. As an adult now however, she has finally been able to find a family of sorts within The Sinners, and is prone to extremely violent outbursts if any of them are threatened or harmed.
Greed
Most people find Greed hard to trust, and with good reason. Before he became cursed, he was a rather notorious criminal. A conman with ties to several black market arms dealing rings, his priority has always been whatever will give him the most money. Though he has shown he is loyal to The Sinners (due to the threat they face potentially killing off anyone and everyone he could profit off of), the others aren’t sure how long that will last, as it would not be difficult for somebody to pay Greed to turn against the rest of them.
Gluttony
While Wrath is the most aggressive of the Sinners, Gluttony is actually the strongest. However, being cursed at birth lead to his mind not fully developing and thus becoming quite mentally challenged. He is trapped in a very child-like state of mind and has trouble grasping many basic concepts. The only thing he seems to understand is “Eat more, get bigger, get stronger” as the more Gluttony devours, the more his strength grows to match his increasingly gargantuan size.December 19, 2012 at 1:51 am #15778
LucMemberHere’s the next member of The Sinners, and already one of my favourites. I also provided a very zoomed in face shot to give a better look at the details put into her face, because I’m quite proud of how it turned out.
Sloth
Aside from being cursed by a demon and being able to conjure spiritual creatures to do her bidding, Sloth is your typical lazy teenager. She flunked out of school quite early on due to her disregard for doing any sort of work, and likewise was kicked out by her own parents for the same reasons. Thankfully after her curse developed she’s found a new family within The Sinners, much like Wrath, whom she views as a sort of big sister and relies on for protection if her spiritual guardians fail. However the beast that The Sinners must fight seems to have a special interest in Sloth, for unknown reasons. This could have some relation to the way her curse simply developed on its own rather than being directly placed on her like the other six Sinners.December 19, 2012 at 2:03 am #15779
LucMember… And then after all the work I put into Sloth’s face, I completely forgot ears. D’oh.

LucMemberAlright, fixed it. Sloth has ears now.

Dionne JinnMemberYou could have just said that they are hidden by her hair and be done with it. Anyway, great work on the team. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of them.

Bah, that would’ve been the lazy thing to do!
… Though I guess that would be kinda fitting, getting lazy on a character themed around laziness.

LucMemberAnd next up, here’s Pride.
Pride
Once, he was a respected man. After some time spent in the military he briefly retired only to start a new career in kickboxing. While he was respected for his talents in both his military career and and competitive fighting, he quickly became hated for his boastful attitude regarding those skills. It eventually became clear he chose his professions simply for the glory they would bring him, and around the same time he fell under the demonic curse the other Sinners were burdened with. Shunned by those who once praised him, Pride joined together with The Sinners as the only ones who would accept his new demonic nature. Although he constantly tries to act as a leader for the group, he often has trouble making the others follow him.December 19, 2012 at 4:15 am #15787
LucMemberNow here’s Envy.
Envy
Her life has been a never ending story of wanting to be somebody else. Always striving to be like the people idolized by the media as celebrities due to her jealousy of the luxurious lifestyles they live. She tried acting but never got a part in anything more glamorous than a local commercial, she tried writing but could never find the patience to finish a story, she tried modeling but just couldn’t pull off the right poses and expressions… Eventually she found a calling in music and managed to gather a small fanbase online from the videos of her playing guitar. But of course she was never satisfied and constantly tried to sabotage the success of others working in her medium while trying to build more success of her own. Her growing career grinded to a screeching halt when she became cursed, and like the others had no choice but to band with the other Sinners like her. Envy is perhaps the only person who still respects Pride, due to him once being close to the fame she wanted. She is also one of the few things keeping Greed loyal to The Sinners, as he believes he could profit off of her desire to be better. -
