Now that I finally seem to have stopped barfing my guts up, I can do some more stuff. Typical isn’t it, haven’t been sick in about a year and as soon as I get home for the Easter break I get bed-ridden for a week with what appeared to be the most aggressive food poisoning known to mankind. Either way, gave me an opportunity to start reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman, which for my sins I haven’t read before. All I can say is, I loved the guy before because of his work on The Sandman and the two Doctor Who episodes he wrote and I love him even more now.
Anyway, new stuff, knew I was forgetting something.

Oh, by the way, if I don’t get round to writing the story I’ve been creating all these characters for, y’all have my permission to kick my arse until I do. So many ideas for this thing and I haven’t put any of them down yet. I’ll put that down to being sick for the moment, but I need to start doing it otherwise it’ll go west like so many of my other bright ideas.

I’ve never read or seen anything written by Gaiman, but I hear it’s ingenious.

Thanks dude. You should definitely read some Neil Gaiman, I’d recommend The Sandman, because it is pretty much the best comic book story of all time. I am feeling better now, I’ve got my appetite back at least and I can actually do things other than groan and chuck, which is always a plus.

Anyway, random idea is random, but I’ve been listening to a lot of bass heavy music for the last hour so, which my mind being the way it is, visuals just started and this happened. I think it’s kinda cool, but it sure as hell ain’t the best thing I’ve ever done.

Dunno how many of you guys remember these two from about a year ago.

Now I did these guys as a one off thing and, whilst I was always happy with Lili (purple hair), I was never too happy with Danni (ginger hair). So I decided to have a go at redoing them, because I also wanted to try out a new technique with one of the new hands and these two seemed like a good place to test it. So here’s the new version.

I may incorporate them into the Veil story if I get round to writing it up, dunno, I’d like to do a bit more with them, I really like the personalities I’ve given them (you can see the original picture with profiles back on page 36 of this thread if you want).
