Just a small stop gap thing now, whilst I try to figure out my next set of characters.

Name: Alexandra (Alex) Cole
Alias: Strong-Girl
Affiliates: W.I.L.D Strike Force, The Freaks (Defunct)
Powers: Kinetic Absorption, Transfer Of Kinetic Energy Into Muscle Mass, Super-Strength (Unknown Limit), Size Shifting, Superhuman Endurance, Invulnerability (above a certain size)
Biography: A former member of the Freaks, the semi-superheroic group based in Powell City, Alex Cole was one of the four survivors of the attack, by the terrorist sect the Knights Of Purity, that decimated the Freaks. Unlike her former team-mates, Cole carried on with super-heroics after the attack, becoming a member of the World International Law Division (W.I.L.D) Strike Force. Her ability seems to stem from a super-active mutanogenic gene. Her mutation seems very similar to the powers displayed by Turbo Girl, however unlike her, Cole does not transfer the kinetic energy she absorbs outwards Instead it seems that her muscle mass increases when ever she comes into contact with anything moving, absorbing its kinetic energy and this process seems to cause her increase in muscle mass and size. However, she will return to her normal size after remaining inactive for a period of time, the length of time dependant on how much she has grown. Like Turbo Girl, Cole seems to have no control over this process and neither seem to have an upper limit to their powers, so whilst they may be very useful operatives and very well meaning, caution would be advised, as both could be considered very dangerous if they ever lost control of their powers or ever came into conflict.

Good stuff but I can’t help but hear Erasure’s “Wild” when I see the characters and read your concepts for W.I.L.D.

I would suggest wild loose hair for fire, since she’d never have to worry about it catching, very short hair for ice, since she won’t need it for warmth, and one of those perfect, difficult hairdos for wind, since it will never muss.

As for faces–identical triplets with identical masks, just color-coded?

Yeah, I like those ideas. Here’s what I came up with.

An elemental super-heroine team of identical triplets, Laura, Amanda and Kayleigh. They have a unique relationship, in that they can combine all of their powers and bodies into one amalgamated super being. They each personify an aspect of personal strength and one of the four classical elements (Courage/ Fire- Laura, Kindness/ Air- Amanda, Love/ Water- Kayleigh) with their amalgamated form representing the final element (earth) and strength.

Next up was going to be the amalgamated sisters, but unfortunately when I went to make it, I was nearly done then I did something I didn’t want to do, clicked undo, and all the masking went. Of course I hadn’t saved it, so that was an hours work down the pan. Oh well.

Alias: Mr. E
Affiliates: W.I.L.D Strike Force
Powers: Super-Human Healing, Super-Human Aim (Target Vision), X-Ray Vision, Super-Human Reflexes, Enhanced Endurance
Biography: An assassin for the more secret side of the government, Mr. E is the go to man for solving problems that don’t officially exist. His powers are the result of artificial enhancements, although the procedure is just another one of the secrets that surround this mysterious killer. Even his name is unknown to most people, he is only known by his pseudonym ‘Edward Edwards’ to pretty much everyone. It could even be possible that he himself does not remember, he never talks about his past, even though it is evident he has many years of combat training and experience from his actions. He was hand picked by the Director of W.I.L.D to lead the new black ops style Strike Force of super-powered hit-men, who deal with all of the operations that even W.I.L.D can not be seen to do.

Alias: Diamond
Affiliates: W.I.L.D Strike Force
Powers: Crystallisation (can create crystal forms to use as weapons/ shields), Touch Telepathy
Biography: The main liaison between the Strike Force and their W.I.L.D supervisor, Diamond was put into the team to make sure that their missions were carried out properly and no member of the team deviated from the mission or did anything that could expose the team. Whilst she is not the most powerful member of the team she has enough skill and experience to mean she is not a hinderance to the more powerful members of the team. As a W.I.L.D agent, she has been trained in numerous forms of weaponry and unarmed combat, as well as computer hacking and various forms of information extraction (including many methods that would only be taught to members of the Strike Force). She is very business like in her manner and prefers to see things work out as planned, but she is resourceful and cunning beneath her officious exterior, not one to double cross, because anyone who did would more than likely find themselves regretting it very quickly.

Lost out to RobM on this one, but he deserved the win and his pair obviously caught peoples attention more. Oh well, top 4 isn’t too bad, considering.
