JR19759KeymasterEver since she lost her parents to the monsters all those years ago, Kira Saiban has dreamed of nothing but revenge. A hunter since she was a child, Kira is, without question, one of the most brutal and effective monster hunters in the business. She works alone and is not afraid to take down any quarry, or any hunter who may get in her way. Weilding her two custom katana, said to be able to turn the wind its self into a weapon, the last sound many hear is their tell-tale whistling.
An update of a character first done back in 2013 (and redone in 2016). I liked how the 2016 design looked, so not much has changed, it’s more freshening her up a bit. Though, I am quite proud of what I did with her katana.

JR19759KeymasterSo, Gabriel. Despite being an angel (or at least of angellic origin) Gabriel is something of a party animal. He’s also very good with the ladies (or the guys if you want, he’s not too fussy) and will never turn down an opportunity for a good time. However, when it comes to his work, he is deadly serious. Of course, his line of work often leads him into contact with the SRC, who he has developed some what of a rivalry with (especially Azaria, for obvious reasons). The foremost demon hunter in the world (and probably a few other planes of existance), Gabriel weilds the greatsword Sefirot, which can cleanse the impure and its holy light is like poison to demon flesh.

JR19759KeymasterNew villain idea. No backstory yet, all I know atm is he’s super strong and smashes things with his custom-made gauntlets.

JR19759KeymasterAnyway…
Name: Abel Peterson
Previously arrested and sectioned for a spate of violent murders, Abel Peterson escaped captivity and decided to make his hobby a profession. Now a killer for hire, Peterson has built himself a reputation and quite the kill list, each left with his signature X cuts across the eyes. Of course, with a reputation comes more attention and with more attention comes higher pay, but higher pay means more dangerous jobs. Not that Peterson minds the danger, but he’s starting to edge into the territory where superheroes are beginning to take notice.

JR19759KeymasterA former soldier for the Olympia Corperation, Artemis deserted her squadron after discovering that she had helped kill her own family, bombing the village they were sheltering in without her knowledge. Upon learning that her superiors knew this information, Artemis vowed to take down Olympia whatever the cost. However, doing so on her own didn’t turn out so well, ending with her losing her arm. She survived though, and managed to find her way to safety. Deciding to take a different approach, she has turned to people she would once have called enemies, those trying to organise a resistance movement against Olympia and the system it upholds.

JR19759KeymasterFormerly a bio-geneticist called Richard Owen, this reptilian abomination was created through the accidental merging of human and reptilian dna. The exact hows and whys of the incident are currently unknown to the public, as the company Owen was working for are fighting vociferously to not disclose their process, but it is speculated that Owen was part of a team trying to create some new experimental gene therapy (or to genetically engineer a dinosaur if you are part of the conspiracy prone). However it occured, Owen is essentially no more, his personality reverted to a much more beastial, primal state. The creature dubbed Dino Sapiens by the media, is undoubtedly dangerous and seems to be in a ongoing state of mutation, potentially adapting between its two conflicting gene pools to suit the situation. Should the creature gain human level intelligence and problem solving abilities whilst retaining the stronger base predatory instincts of the reptile then it could become a serious threat.

JR19759Keymaster
Name: Isabella Collins
Codename: Golden Guardian
Powers: Peak Human Fitness, Superhuman Strength (max approx. 4-5 tonnes), superhuman reflexesGranddaughter of World War 2 era superheroes The American (Walter Collins) and Miss Liberty (Mary Carter), Isabella and her brother Thomas grew up with stories of heroic exploits and daring deeds. Considering her grandparents status in the superhero world, she would often find herself meeting various members of the superhero community through them, including her idol The Golden Guardian (Ryan Dawn). As one might expect with such an upbringing, Isabella and Thomas both dreamed of being superheroes. In their teens both started to show signs of powers beginning to develop, so they began to train with their grandfather. Whilst Thomas would take up the mantel of The American in tribute to their grandfather and revive their grandparents superteam, Team Supreme, Isabella would go in a different direction. She instead took up the mantel of the Golden Guardian in tribute to Ryan Dawn, who had passed away some years prior. Isabella may be superhumanly strong, but it is her fighting skill that makes her a formidable hero. As well as training with her grandfather, she also trained in many different fighting styles from across the globe, seeking out and learning from any expert or teacher who would train her. This, combined with her astonishing reflexes and fitness level would make her a tough opponent even without her strength, but with it… well, she’s not someone that all but the toughest of supervillains would want to face.

JR19759KeymasterThe third person to take up the mantel of The Dominator after her father Walt and brother David, Elizabeth helped David become The Dominator by stealing Tori Lannock’s Goliath Formula (the serum that gave Tori and her father Matt their powers to begin with). However, David died during a heist gone horribly, horribly wrong (so horribly wrong in fact that it ended up in another dimension with the superheroes and supervillains having to team up to fight the extra-dimensional tyrant Rahl). After the death of her brother, Elizabeth used the last of the stolen formula herself, gaining the same super strength and superhuman healing factor as the others who used it. Intent on continuing her families criminal legacy, Elizabeth has the smarts to back up her new strength.

JR19759KeymasterNot much backstory on this girl. She’s a Bangladeshi Muslim superhuman called Jaya Chowdhury who goes by the codename Dhākkā (meaning Push/ Shock/ Collision/ Kickback in Bengali) and her powers are creating concusive shockwaves through her hands. She wears guantlets to help her focus and, in some cases, amplify her powers.

JR19759KeymasterAlan Reeve, one of the richest men in the world, a multi-multi billionaire. A text book genius from a young age (he’s really good at stealing the credit for the work of much smarter and harder working people), Reeve started from nothing but a small fortune left to him by his unbelievably wealthy parents and built a huge business empire from the ground up using nothing but hard work, inspiration and a lot of other people to do those last two things for him because like hell is he ever lifting a finger to do any work, that’s what other, less wealthy people are for. Using his (parents) vast fortune, he created Reeve Industries (by buying out and conglomerating a number of pre-existing businesses through a combination of stock trading and illegal financial manuevers) and set to work changing the world using inspirational advertising and puff pieces in magazines (and union-busting, under-paying workers and calling first responders pedophiles). Of course, Reeve dabbles in philanthropy, through his own private charitable foundation (tax deductable of course and all through an investment portfolio that doesn’t actually have to make the donations immediately but wait for the portfolio to mature at some undisclosed point in the future, but is definately tax deductable right now), but he doesn’t make a huge fuss about it (except for making sure it is mentioned in every interview he ever does). However, Reeve still didn’t feel like he was changing the world enough, so he decided to become a superhero. He invented a prototype flying armor suit (by plagerising the work of someone else and then getting someone with actual talent to build the thing and then firing them so he didn’t have to pay them employee benefits) and painted it up in Reeve Industry colours with their logo slap bang in the middle of his chest so everyone would know just who was saving them (of course, the announcement of Reeve’s new superhero persona also saw a huge boost in Reeve Industries stock prices). Reeve decided on the alias Megastar, because Superstar was already taken and he had to be better than just some small time shmuck who’d been saving the world since she was a teenager. Now, with his new superhero identity and billions in the bank, Reeve can set out to right all the wrongs in the world (which too be honest he probably could have started by sorting out all of the labour violations, child labour and poverty wages from his companys supply line subsiduaries and sub-contractors, oh and maybe paying his taxes and stopping pumping toxic gases into the atmosphere from the production of his vanity project electric underground hyper-speed poor-people-commuting-avoidance shuttle). Of course, what Reeve considers “wrong with the world” might not be exactly what most people would (but it’ll definately make him an obscene amount of extra money, which, let’s be honest, is exactly what is wrong with the world, Alan Reeve doesn’t have even more money).

JR19759KeymasterA former member of Strike Force Europe, Camille Mercier, aka Vélocité, originally took a step back from heroics after becoming disillusioned with how her team was opperating. Using her time off to travel the world, including Senegal and Haiti, countries she has close family ties to. However, when she returned home to France, the speedster decided to follow the lead of her former team-mate Melisa Meier and strike out on her own as a solo hero. Now quicker than ever, she has even come up with a way to store and recycle the energy she uses whilst running, utilising a special warp apparatus she wears on her chest. Using the energy stored in this device can allow her to use her short hop teleportation ability without needing to build up speed first, making her even more unpredictable in a fight.
