JR19759KeymasterBefore I finish off my current series, I thought I might want to preveiw my next, especially considering that the preview is also my entry for this weeks contest.
A member of the tree-top dwelling race known as the Svetalen, who live on Prisax-V in the western arm of the galaxy, Mira Abina was noted for her unusual abilities from a young age. She possessed reflexes fast even for a Svetalen, and the ability to seemingly influence objects and people without needing to speak or touch them. Her abilities attracted attention of course, and whilst she was still a child she was taken in by The Order, who trained her to use her powers for good. She was an excellent student, mastering the complex combat styles of The Order’s warriors and even crafting her own unique spin on their signature laser sword weapon, a double bladed laser shaft. However, she found The Order to rigid and too strict, feeling that their very rules hindered them from practicing the mantra that they preached, so she left. She now helps out the citizens of the Galactic Republic where ever she can, in places that The Order have no presence.

AnarchangelParticipantAwesome.
I’m a sucker for any kind of alien species. Especially those with tails. π
June 26, 2017 at 3:50 pm #146128
JR19759Keymaster@Anarchangel- Damn, I should have added tails to everyone in my next load of pictures so you’d love me forever π Cheers dude.
Anyway, back to W.I.L.D villains.
A tyrant from another dimension, Rahl was born in a universe where there is no matter, only dark matter and dark energy. That means that when he discovered a crack in the fabric of reality that allowed him to a universe of matter, he became one of the most destrucitve forces in existance. Able to control dark matter and dark energy in the matter universes, this means he can control approximately 95% of reality as we know it and he can disintergrate matter at will. However, his power drains quickly and he cannot survive long outside of his own reality, so mostly uses agents in his quest to conquer the matter world.

JR19759KeymasterOnce a brilliant, if somewhat arrogant and ambitious, Svetalen scientist on his home planet of Prisax-V, Cza Hama was given cosmic powers over time and space when the test run of a new hyper-space engine went awry. Refashioning himself as Omnion, he believes himself to be the strongest being in the universe and kidnaps members of various alien races to do battle with him to prove it. He also conducts horrific experiments to his captives, augmenting them so they prove more of a challenge to him and, if anyone should defeat him, he studies them extensively and invasively so as to learn how togrow stronger. However, his actions contrevened many of the Cosmic Councils laws and he now has a death sentance and a bounty of 1 trillion Credits in every civilised world in the Galactic Republic. At first Omnion welcomed the challenge of fighting off the universes most dangerous bounty hunters and law enforcement agents, seeing it as excellent research, but he was soon overwhelmed by the number of agressors looking to claim his bounty. He instead fled to a small semi-aquatic planet orbiting a remote star in the southern spiral arm of the galaxy, a place that was out of the reach of the Cosmic Council and Galactic Republic, a place abundant with native species that he could use to restart his research.

JR19759KeymasterName: Tyra Madison
Species: Human/ Cyborg (Omnion Revenant)
Home Planet: TitanBio: Born in the year 6759, Tyra Madison was a test pilot for Solaris Space Enginering company from the human colony of Titan. Her job involved testing the companies new space drives, both on short range and long range, the company would often send out long range test runs of their larger spacecraft with a number of smaller testable prototypes to save on cost and man-power, with multiple test runs running concurrently. Her last test was taking a sub-lightspeed cruiser for a test run whilst on a long-range test of a galactic class cruiser in deep space. However, there was a malfunction and her rear thruster blew out, sending her spiralling into a wormhole. As far as the records show, that was when Tyra Madison died. However, she was flung far back in time by the wormhole and the explosion of her spacecraft, appearing in exactly the same spot over 4000 years earlier. Her body was horrificly damaged by the ordeal and she was dead when she was discovered by a passing alien craft. Fortunately, the occupants of the craft were technologically skilled enough to craft Tyra a new mechanical body and restore her to life. Unfortunately, those same occupants worked for Omnion, who put his new Revenant to work capturing and control the subjects for his experiments. Tyra found herself unable to do anything by comply due to protocals installed into her mechanical body, but when her control chip was damaged during a scuffle with a prisoner, she found herself able to control herself again. As Omnion fled from the bountyhunters trying to kill him, she released all of his prisoners, who overwhelmed the guards and fled. Tyra would soon join with a group of aliens, including two of the prisoners, to hunt Omnion and punish him for his crimes, though certain members of the group find it hard to trust Tyra due to her past as a Revenant.

TrekkieParticipantGreat design!
July 2, 2017 at 1:01 pm #146274
JR19759Keymaster@Trekkie- Thanks
Anyway…
Name: Aesia Kael
Species: Damouran
Home Planet: DamouraThroughout all of the planets that make up the Galactic Republic, the Damourans are known for their toughness and militaristic nature. Strong, fast and capable of functioning even after extreme injury that would dibilitate any other species, Damourans are often recruited as soldiers in the Republic Army, many even being used as the Councillary Guard, who protect members of the Cosmic Council from any threat. Aesia Kael was a captain of a Damouran platoon in the Galactic Army, when their ship was boarded by a group of Omnion’s Revenants, looking for fresh test subjects for their master. Though they gave as good as they got, even the Damourans weren’t a match for the cyborgs and many were captured, including Kael. After watching his men being tortured, experimented on and killed by the mad Svetalen, Kael swore that he would not rest until Omnion was dead by his own hand. Joining up with a group of other aliens with the same goal after a break out of Omnion’s prisoners, Kael is forced to work alongside a number of people he would normally despise, a bounty hunter, a Svetalen and even one of Omnion’s Revenants, in order to achieve his goal.

JR19759KeymasterName: D’Jala Ren
Species: Dvaarin
Home Planet: KhaluOne of the few notable sentient races to not be part of the Galactic Republic and still have notable power and influence, the Dvaarin have a small empire that spans a few dozen systems around their home planet of Hakalr. Dvaarin’s are generally a social race, their extremely quick reproductive cycle means family groups can number in the hundreds, but are often hostile to other races and are dangerous due to their hostile natures, intelligence and carnivore insticts. They invade other worlds to use as breeding and hunting grounds for their ever increasing population. However, their empire took a major hit recently, when one of their major breeding planets, Khalu, was attacked by the galactic scourge known as Omnion. He caputred a large number of Dvaarin’s, as well as other indiginous wildlife, and then decimated the planet, scorching the surface so as nothing could inhabit it for at least a thousand years. There were some survivors from the Khalu colony though, a few Dvaarin’s were off world when the attack took place. Those survivors lost their families, their homes and everything they knew and many swore revenge. D’Jala Ren was one such survivor, teaming up with a reknowned bounty hunter who agreed to help her track and kill Omnion, so long as he could claim the bounty when she was finished. This would eventually lead to the pair joining forces with other likeminded individuals after Omnion fled his hideout, which D’Jala is not too pleased about, as it means she has competition as to who get’s to kill their target first. However, she is pragmatic enough to know that she stands a better chance of achieving her goal by staying with the group than by going off on her own and, if worst comes to worst, she can just kill everyone else too.

JR19759KeymasterName: Arya
Species: Sol Deitiis
Home Planet: (Unknown)Little is known about the enigmatic spcies known as the Sol Deitiis. Rarely seen, they are immensly powerful creatures, able to survive off of sun-light alone, they do not need to eat, drink, or even breath. They can survive the vacuum of space indefinately without any ill-effects and are able to control the effects of gravity on their own bodies, as well as being able to emit light and heat from their bodies. This later point has led some to believe the legends that say these beings are born from stars (hence the species name), as no-one has ever found out where they originate from. Some believe they are Gods, others think they are the descendants of the mythical space creature known as the Matora. Of course, no Sol Deitiis has ever been studied for long enough or given answers to any questions concerning their origin for any meaningful investigation to be conducted. They are a secretive race and not often social. However, one Sol Deitiis, known as Arya, has come to work for the Cosmic Council. He appears to act as some sort of last line of defence for the council, as no living being would be stupid enough to take on a Sol Deitiis in single combat. Most recently, Arya was sent by the council to remove the threat of Omnion from the galaxy. However, Omnion had already fled his base of opperations by the time Arya arrived and he found himself amongst a rag tag group of aliens all hunting the Svetalen for their own purposes. Whether Arya needs the group is debatable, but he understands the strategic use of his new allies in locating and neutralizing his quary. Though Arya may be powerful, Omnion has power over some of the fundimental laws of nature and not even a Sol Deitiis can guarantee victory over such a powerful opponent.

JR19759KeymasterName: Grawrp
Species: Golem (Also known as Stone Colossus)
Home Planet: PetrataAn ancient species, there is evidence of Golems existing on their home planet of Petrata for over 70 million years. The species is notable for being the largest organic species to make use of inorganic materials for natural bodily protection, as Golems digest rocks and then form a tough crystaline granular casing around their organic bodies, which is the rocky carapace that is most associated with the species. Due to this, they are increadibly hard to hurt physically with anything less than laser fire, although the species is famously averse to water due to the weight of their shells. Golems are also notable for having the hardest language to learn of any known Galactic race, with there being only a handful of translators able to communicate with the stone colossi in the galaxy. However, Golems are quite good at getting their points across without resorting to vocalisations, they are surprisingly expressive despite their stoney exteriors. This may be an evolutionary adaptation, as Golems traditionally live in large groups and very quickly form strong social bonds. This came as somewhat of a shock to the group looking to hunt down Omnion, as they found themselves accompanied by a young Golem, now known as Grawrp, that they rescued from Omnion’s prison. It is unclear whether Grawrp has much comprehension of the groups mission, but he has proven himself usefull due to his intimidating size and appearance, as well as his massive strength.

JR19759KeymasterName: Kett Nova
Species: Varakaryan
Home Planet: – (Based on Kaladar, birth place unknown: presumed Refuge Station 11)One of the Galactic Republic’s most well known and dangerous bounty hunters, Kett Nova is one of the last Varakaryan’s left after the destruction of Varakar some ten generations ago. Little is really known about this enigmatic killer, except that he plies his trade by hunting only the most valuable prizes and demands and equally high price. His exorbetant fees are unquestionably worth it, as he is not recorded to have failed a single job. Like most bounty hunters, he has a signature, a recognisable method of killing to let his clients know of his success. Nova’s signature is his use of disintergrations, rarely leaving behind any evidence of his targets, save for a specific bodypart Nova will remove before the act which is agreed upon by the client as a means of identification. Whilst he may be one of the most dangerous killers in the galaxy, Nova isn’t without his own failures. He is forced to wear a respirator helmet after his face was crushed during a fight with another bounty hunter over a mark. Of course, the other guy came off worse, but Nova is still troubled by the injury and has become notably less active since. However, it has not stopped him from joining every other bounty hunter in the galaxy in answering the Cosmic Council’s offer of a trillion credits for the head of the Svetalen criminal Omnion, though the job has brought quite a few unexpected twists. First picking up a Dvaarin helper who also wished Omnion dead, he would later end up hosting a number of others hunting his mark for their own reasons. As none of his cohorts are interested in the bounty, Nova humors them, seeming to enjoy their disfunction and quarrelling. After all, how better to learn about potential targets than by fighting alongside them?

JR19759KeymasterAnd now to finish up…
Name: Mira Abina
Species: Svetalen
Home Planet: Prisax-VA member of the tree-top dwelling race known as the Svetalen, who live on Prisax-V in the western arm of the galaxy, Mira Abina was noted for her unusual abilities from a young age. She possessed reflexes fast even for a Svetalen, and the ability to seemingly influence objects and people without needing to speak or touch them. Her abilities attracted attention of course, and whilst she was still a child she was taken in by The Order, a semi-religious group of warriors based in the Galactic Capital, who trained her to use her powers for good. She was an excellent student, mastering the complex combat styles of The Orderβs warriors and even crafting her own unique spin on their signature laser sword weapon, a double bladed laser shaft. However, she found The Order to rigid and too strict, feeling that their very rules hindered them from practicing the mantra that they preached, so she left. She now helps out the citizens of the Galactic Republic where ever she can, in places that The Order have no presence. However, the Omnion incident has drawn her back to the Galaxic Republic. Feeling that she must attone for what her fellow Svetalen has done, she has made it her mission to make him see the error of his ways or, if that fails, make sure that he recieves punishment. But even though her intentions are anti-Omnion, the Svetalen are veiwed with suspicion by many species now and she hasn’t found it easy to track her quarry. Fortunately, she was able to locate his base of operations in time to join up with a group who are also on the hunt for the mass murderer, but again, this has brought its own challenges, as all are looking to kill Omnion and some would like to have her head as well.

JR19759KeymasterOk, last thing for the moment. Don’t have anything else planned or ready to go so… yeah.
Anyway
Leigh and Lance Walker; twins born with powers thanks to the mysterious event known as The Moment. As twins their powers are identical, both are superhumanly strong and fast, with high stamina and excellent reflexes. They also have senses on par with a bird of prey, with sight so acute that either could spot a penny on the ground from the top of a skyscrapper and hearing powerful enough to pinpoint the sound of someone walking from two blocks away. They also appear to be highly resistant to impact damage and blunt force trauma and heal remarkably quickly, an adaptation that they have exploited by fashioning themselves wing suits, allowing them to glide from tall structures without incurring heavy injury upon landing. Taking up the bird theme, they fashioned themselves into Queen Eagle and King Hawk, twin protectors and two of the few superhumans who operate as vigilantes, outside of W.I.L.D’s supervision. By day both work at their fathers law firm as lawyers, hding their secret double lives from their father, who would undoubtedly disapprove.
