WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantHahaha! Don’t feel guilty, Anarcangel! I’m sure I laughed at enough of the pics that came up. I was looking for some poses to copy from, and I didn’t notice that screenshot wasn’t cropped. For the new pic, (top), I searched “battling midgets” and ‘fighting midgets.” The more I look at the older pic, I see quite a few things to correct and improve!

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantSexy Amy and the picture I copied the pose from. Still having trouble masking tops to this angled body. When I do Amy I usually just color the body as clothing.

Herr DParticipantYah–she looks like a short Amy Smart. You’re gonna have to build that other strap out of lots of little pieces.
As an example of building, look at my post #153. All thirteen of the courier’s visible fingers have segments made out of EyesStd (no pupils in the items) and InsigniaTech (crescent) claws. The original item that was built up came from somewhere else and was masked to the package he’s holding.Clearly you understand alternate uses–I’m not sure whether that background is a cape or a dress– what you might not have thought of is the benefit of masking being it’s own layer. You can put an item between the masked item and the item it’s masked to so that the masking ‘masks’ or partially covers yet another item or items. –So you can mask a ‘dress’ onto her skin and ‘stuff’ a curve-matching insignia under the edge to give it a border. Then you can have masking ‘mask’ a mask (Headgear)–dizzy yet?

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantYeah, Herr D. That’s a cape used as curtains and a fancy staff as a curtain rod. I understand the concept, but like with your explanation, while I was able to follow, I eventually got lost in the layers. I’m just really starting to get into the layered masking and lose count.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantOK, Herr D, how’s this one? I followed Kaylin’s masking tutorial step by step and while I still left a tiny spot uncovered, I think this came out much better than the first. Thanks for the tips! This is an edit: I noticed the left foot after posting. It was originally crossed behind the right foot.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantHow ya like me now? Also, you may also notice only one eye flaming in these latest Amy pics. That’s to imply her gaining more control over her optics. The glow is permanent; she’s gradually learning to pull back the flames.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantI think I’m going to try and do all of my female heros in either swimsuits, or sexy poses. Because I see Arclight as a mother figure, I kept her a bit more dignified, . I’ll touch this up later with some zypping.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantHere’s a sexy look at Blackhole, or at least as sexy as an alien from the other side of a black hole can be interpreted. Also a few filtered pics of an older pose. The first pic is filtered.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantAn alternate Earth version of Amy Atom. In this world, Amy has been granted cosmic powers and calls herself White Dwarf.
November 19, 2013 at 11:09 am #33726
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantStill kicking around ideas for alternate versions of Amy Atom.
November 24, 2013 at 8:09 am #32944
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantAnother alternate Amy Atom. Don’t know what to do with her yet, make her a multi-verse version or an alternate suit for the Earth Prime Amy. Would require more story. Germ of an idea, multi-verse Amy without control over her radiation or Earth Prime Amy temporarily losing control over her radiation.
November 24, 2013 at 8:29 am #32945
The Atomic PunkParticipantThat must be a near indestructible suit if she’s going to continue fighting crime without being able to control her powers!

Well, I’m sure it gets rather moist under the helmet.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipant@TheNate: LOL! @Atomic Punk: If this was the Marvel Universe I could just say the suit was designed by Reed Richards and made of unstable molecules which conform to any wearer’s body type, energy fields and powers. Easy out, lol! If I go with with it, it will probably be explained as something designed by Amy’s Mom who designed the radiation suits she and her husband wear. If not for their suits they probably would have died from the radiation they absorbed on the job. The suit was upgraded with improvements by both Amy’s parents along with input from Amy while field testing the suit under controlled conditions. There are so many ways I could take this! How writers come up with fresh ideas to sustain a monthly series, let alone keep up with deadlines, just blows my mind!
