Real name: Emma Peterson
Age: 15Her natural wings and accelerated metabolism enable her to fly at incredible speeds like a hummingbird. She is also gifted with technological expertise, creating a variety of weapons like her personal electronic mace. The youngest member of the Rogue Patrol, she has a hyperkinetic personality and is frienemies with the team’s other tech guy, Oddball.

AnonymousInactiveTaking a break from the Rogue Patrol, here’s a new guy I’m working on. I’m having some issues with it (the pose and the transparency still don’t look quite right to me), but I do think he looks pretty cool for a wip, so I’m posting him anyways.
Rotank the Conqueror
Rotank’s species, once a proud warrior race, were struck with a horrific plague that killed many of them and left the rest emaciated and barely alive. In order to continue their conquering ways, they decided to preserve themselves into large, muscular artificial bodies that allow them to stay alive while being just as violent and murderous as they were before, with Rotank leading the charge.

AnonymousInactiveOkay, the Rogue Patrol doesn’t seem to be getting much of a response, so I figured I’d give them a nice sendoff with my first attempt at a group shot before I move on to other stuff.
And here are the individual character shots. Most of them I already posted, but I did at least polish all of them if not outright changed the design, and I felt like I should show that off.
The Shaid
Metalloid
Zombie
Sawtooth
Mudbeast
Oddball
Hummingbird

DiCicatrizParticipantCool characters! I think Oddball is my favorite. Don’t be too discouraged if you don’t get a lot of responses. The forums tend to have their on and off weeks where activity dips low. We do have a lot of lurkers so I’m sure plenty of people are seeing your stuff

AnonymousInactive@DiCicatriz: Thanks for the kind words and encouragement, it really made my day
And now for a couple of contest entries. First up, my entry for this week’s CDC: Katar Sunaa, an ancient warrior mystic.
Next, my entry for Kaldath’s Character Challenge, a Russian expert assassin simply known as “the Silver Owl”:

AnonymousInactiveA fun little piece of randomness I came up with. Intergalactic attorney Peluzia Krass has a very unique way of making sure her clients pay up…
January 28, 2014 at 2:23 pm #36904
LegatusParticipantSo which one is the attorney?
January 29, 2014 at 8:59 am #36936
AnonymousInactiveThe one with the pink hair (hence “her clients”). Though you can pretend it’s the gorilla if you find that more entertaining.

AnonymousInactiveHere’s an alien race I created, the Taak’ti. Primarily dwelling in caves and tunnels, they are naturally gifted with flexible and aerodynamic bodies that allow them to easily navigate tight spaces and give them great agility in combat situations. They are also highly predatory; while they may occasionally repress their barbarism and bloodlust for trade purposes, you do not want to be left unprotected in their territory.
A male and female Taak’t:

HammerknightParticipantCool.

And here’s the whole thing:

HammerknightParticipantNice job.

AnonymousInactiveMy attempt at a TV character ripoff, er, reimagining:
INTELLA
A humanoid robot programmed with all the knowledge of the universe, designed as sort of an intergalactic tour guide.

AnonymousInactiveI seem to be on a bit of a sci-fi kick lately. I’m thinking of making a fictional universe with these last few characters. As well as this one…
ZEUS PIGAS
A blue-collar steel worker from the planet Suidae, where awesome gravity-manipulating power gloves are standard issue construction equipment.

AnonymousInactiveOkay, here’s a wip I’m having trouble with. I had the idea to create a few zodiac-themed characters for this week’s contest, one of which was a giant kung fu snake monster (my imagination is weird sometimes). So I tried masking the reptile limbs from MaleAlternate to the approriate Standard pieces so I could get him in a martial arts pose while still keeping skin consistency and…I guess it worked? I kind of like how it looks, but I still feel there’s something off about it. Can you guys give me some constructive criticism to help me clean it up a little bit?
