VampyristParticipantFor my silver age contest win, I’d like to claim a flatcap.

Ok, I didn’t win a contest or anything, but I have a good idea for something that I think a lot of people could use. I would have found it helpful, and I think it would go great with a lot of characters.
I just got a picture from assassin’s creed because that’s all I could think of (I don’t actually play it). Pretty much, just a hood that goes down over someone’s eyes. It wouldn’t have that shadow-y part that some hoods do that cover the eyes.
I think this would be great for mysterious characters. It would also look really good for the head tilted down.
So, thoughts?how does this look? (rough sketch kinda)

Sorry, the picture won’t show up, and when I try to view it, it says page not found.
Did you upload the way you upload characters?August 21, 2014 at 5:15 am #43547

Sorry d, I kept forgetting to stop by here and claim my prize. Anyway, I think I’d like to choose a pair of converse boots.
Obviously I don’t want that left one at that angle but I do like the idea of having the two of them at slightly different angles as it makes for better poses, for instance if you have one foot head on and another at a different angle. It looks less awkward than having a perfectly symmetrical pose. I’m just not sure if that technically counts as two items….
It’s on the list!

I’m not sure if I get a prize for coming in at a tie, but in case I do here’s my request:
ItemRight -> Miscellaneous -> Swaddled Infant:
Color 1 – blanket, color 2 – Infant skin.
I had to make a baby from scratch before and it wasn’t easy. To keep it easy, let’s make that baby bald because it’s easier to add hair than take it off. Face-wise, they all look like big-nosed aliens in the early days, so generic is better.
I also hope this isn’t too close to the ban on “companions,” because this is something people would have to hold. If it is, let me know and I’ll pick something else.
I think I can do it. I’ll make it two separate images though. Baby head and swaddled shape.

AnarchangelParticipantI think I finally decided what I want to claim as my prize for the national heroes contest. A lover body part in a leaping pose like this.
It obviously doesn’t need to have the detail/costume that this one has. Just the pose is fine….Although I’m undecided about whether or not feet should be included.

I hate to be a party pooper but this falls under my “No Alternate body part” rule (see first post in this thread). I will take it under consideration but if you can offer an alternate (no pun intended) option I sure would appreciate it.

dbladeParticipantI was just reading the rules at the beginning. Is there a story behind why someone shouldn’t ask for backgrounds and companions, and why you might not accept monster bodies? If not, then why?
Just wondering. I found it strange. This is to avoid requests that may be too complicated/time-consuming or even beyond my ability as an illustrator. Jeff can handle these kind of requests but I am not at his skill level. Also certain companion suggestions may be the equivalent of doing multiple items. Believe it or not I actually have fun creating these items and I’m trying to avoid burning out on the process. Hence these guidelines were created to keep me sane. 🙂
Have I ever told you about the Hair request that left me mentally drained and ragged for days after? 🙂 🙂
