He eventullay became a private-eye working for the highest bidder, but soon discovered that he had the ability to see ghosts. A specter in the form of his deceased wife serves as his companion, helping him to contact the spirits and to see things he normally would not. He also serves as a mentor and adviser to a group of young people with special powers and abilities, often homeless or growing up in poor areas calling themselves the Underground.

carew12ParticipantIt’s been over two years and I doubt any of you remember this thread but I recently remembered how much fun it is to create characters on Heromachine and thought I’d resurrect this fossil.
I’ll kick off with a guy I made back on the Ugo forums way back when, and recently remade him: Captain McCutler.
Captain Jonah McCutler is in many ways the stereotypical depiction of a pirate. However, this modern voyager is different in the fact he blends the traditional image with advanced technology – giving him the edge over any regular bandits and providing him with a reasonable arsenal through which he can battle the heroes. This includes various laser rifles and a peg leg, which itself doubles as a laser. In addition to this, McCutler resides in the ‘Drunken Wench’ a pirate ship rejuvenated by the Captain’s technological prowess.
McCutler is largely known for his mercenary work, however he is known to carry out mission for the peace keeping organisation Beacon on the underhand. His exploits appear to be motivated by the adventurism he shares with the pirates he styled his persona on, rather than an ‘evil’ outlook.

Here’s a remake of Ramona Stormfoot, who can be seen a few posts up ^^
The secretive Isla Atlantis in the Mediterranean Sea is the home to the mysterious Atlantean race. This race live almost twice as long as humans, have pale, green skin and pointed ears. They can breathe both beneath and above water, which allows them to navigate the vast underwater sector of their small nation. Among these Atlanteans stands Ramona Stormfoot. A high-ranking soldier in the Atlantean army. Born with the great strength, speed and the power to fly, she quickly raised through the ranks.
Ramona was eventually awarded the title Stormfoot, following the death of her predecessor. As the Stormfoot, she served as a hero and guardian of the Atlanteans and the island, as well as a powerful show of Atlantean might and power to the rest of the world. She was also awarded the Trident of Storms for her new role. Additional to her powers, she was granted the ability to summon a great, golden trident from the skies in a bolt of lightening and to control the sea and skies to create storms to fight her foes.
Stormfoot uses her abilities to protect her home from evil as well as battle evil across the world as a member of the Command, taking great pleasure in the vanquishing of her enemies and the heat of battle.

carew12ParticipantArndor Blackfin: The Warrior Lord of the Deep.
The Hosethe Tribe once ruled over the Isla Atlantis, and are on a constant quest to regain their old status. After a series of despotic dictators, the family were ousted to be replaced with a more diplomatic form of rule, which led to the nomadic Tribe being formed. In order to contest with the Stormfoot, a warrior granted the will of the sea and sky, dark magic was used to endow another weapon with it’s abilities. The mighty warrior Arndor, right hand of the leader of the tribe, his Blackfin, was given the weapon. Despite not matching the weapon it was created to mimic, Arndor’s mace makes up for that in sheer recklessness and brutality. But is that enough to return his tribe’s status as lords of Atlantis?
