CantDrawParticipantMeet Red Bat crime boss, Dollface:
BIO:
Dollface runs the largest crime syndicate in town. She rarely speaks and orders her employees with special eye and hand movements. DF is a master at psychological warfare and can break the strongest of wills. Also, she created and commands Porcelain.February 22, 2014 at 1:21 pm #1758
Linea24ParticipantI love Dollface. Especially that dress.

Herr DParticipant[WAHNKWAHNKWAHNK] “Captain?! We’re detecting traces of hyper-realism!”
“Here in heromachinespace? Are you sure, Ensign?”
“Yessir.”
“–Brace for impact!”February 23, 2014 at 4:30 am #38054
Mad JackParticipantCongrats! I always thought mimes were spooky, but know I’m downright scared of them because of you. Hope you’re glad…

CantDrawParticipantYou’re most certainly welcome and thank y’all for the comments. I probably won’t get to do any HM’ing this week due to some screwed up family stuff. It’s amazing how one person’s bad decision can affect so many people. Anyway, I’ll start planning the Red Bat comic book and will most likely post that in an all-new thread. I don’t know if I can pull it off, but, heck, why not try. Later!
March 3, 2014 at 5:24 pm #38514
CantDrawParticipantWell, I’ve planned the first Red Bat comic. I’m thinking each is going to be 8-10 pages (first one will be 8). Now I’ve just got to make it. Also, I’ll be creating a new thread just for comics since I may do a Sumina-verse one at some point. Now if only my interest level stays high enough to see it all the way through… Woohoo!
BTW, the 8-10 pages is not including the cover, which there will be for each comic.

CantDrawParticipantAlright guys, as of March 22 I will have been on the forums for a year. So far it’s been a great ride and it just keeps getting better. Thank you, Jeff, for creating Heromachine, and thank y’all for making this an awesome experience. To celebrate, I thought I might go in the way-back machine to my very first posted character and redesign her. Here’s the original:
And now for the new and possibly improved:
BIO:
Helen the Heartbreaker is a one of the four members of the Painted Ladies Club, a clandestine organization guided by a secret agenda and led by someone known only as “The Suicide King”. At times they have worked with Red Bat and against her at others. Helen is the most volatile member of the team and fights with a passion like no other.I went with less stripes and a simpler design overall, as well as changing her to a blonde. Also, I wanted to go even more cabaret-style with her. I’ve had the thought of a secret spy-type ring in the Red Bat universe for a while and liked the idea of applying playing card symbols to it. Eventually, you’ll see one for diamonds, clubs, and spades. FYI, PLC is run kind of like Charlie’s Angels, so none of the ladies have ever seen their boss.
On another note, if you haven’t checked out my CantDraw Comic’s thread yet, then what are you waiting for? Granted it’s only the cover now, but more is sure to come. Also, I’ll be redesigning Red Bat (again?) in the near future, but you may see it in the comic first; although, it won’t be until the second issue. I plan on giving the costume more detail stuff, like belts and things.

CantDrawParticipantNext member of the Painted Ladies Club:
BIO:
Maria the Serpentine is the acrobat and thief of the group. Due partly to her flexibility, she is a master grappler. Also, it is said her fighting moves have a hypnotic affect on her opponents, especially men.
FYI, “Painted Ladies” refers to the four queens in a deck of playing cards, so each member of the club will represent one of them. Can you spot the spade?

JR19759KeymasterWow…… that’s pretty awesome shading and posing you got join’ on there mate.
Also would I be correct in guessing that the spades are the white dots on her eye make-up (the fin-frills above her eyes, I guess they’re meant to be make-up). If not, I’m stumped.March 12, 2014 at 3:07 pm #38804
CantDrawParticipantNo…it’s not the white dots…look lower.
March 12, 2014 at 3:34 pm #38807
JR19759KeymasterGot it!!! Wow that was well hidden, I thought it was actually part of the other item originally, rather than the spade.
March 12, 2014 at 3:50 pm #38809
Linea24ParticipantThat is some pretty good posing. And is the spade in the dragon’s mouth?
March 13, 2014 at 7:19 am #38825
CantDrawParticipantBingo!

CantDrawParticipantRed Bat with a new suit designed by Dr. Silver:
After the events in the first few pages of Red Bat Rising Part 1 (which hasn’t all been published, yet), Red gets a new suit designed by Dr. Silver. It’s made from skin-clinging nano-fibers with retractable arm blades (shown un-retracted above) and retractable glider wings (shown retracted above). Also, it comes with a fancy pointed cowl for when she goes into raging bull mode (just kidding). That’s right, no more cape (it kept getting caught in the back wheel of her motorcycle).

CantDrawParticipant3rd member of the Painted Ladies Club:
BIO:
Regina the Overseer is a fashion model and the strategist of the team. She’s also an expert marksman and experienced in spy craft.
