Blue BlazerParticipantAlias: Aquarius
Real Name: Drayton Westley
Genre: Superhero
Powers/Special Skills: composed of semi-solid water; able to become completely liquid; able to manipulate any water in his vicinity
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none
Affiliations: Celestials, Fathom (son), River (granddaughter), Brook (granddaughter)
Other Aliases: Deluge
Status: active
Bio:
Drayton Westley is one of the oldest active superheroes on the planet. He began his crime fighting career as the hero Deluge in the early 1950’s, battling evil with a no-nonsense, conservative method until the mid-80’s, when he formed the Celestials, a Zodiac-themed team of heroes, and changed his alias to Aquarius. During his days as Deluge, he also employed his son Shane as his sidekick, code named Hydro-Boy. Drayton’s unemotional, hard-cased attitude toward his son eventually drove Shane to become the villain Fathom, who would later father twin daughters, one of whom was rescued from his care by Drayton and raised to become the heroine River, and the other who Shane was able to keep and make his own wicked sidekick, named Brook. Now a gruff old man, Drayton continues to lead the Celestials like a military regiment, accepting neither failure nor complaint.Pictures:

Blue BlazerParticipantName: Aquatica
Genre: Superhero
Powers/Special Skills: composed of water; able to generate and manipulate water
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none
Affiliations: Water sprites
Other Aliases: none
Status: active
Bio:
Aquatica was once a simple water sprite, one of thousands of a race of supernatural beings, each assigned to protect a body of water at Earth’s creation. She was a lower-level sprite, dwelling in a small river in the American southeast. Aquatica was content to roam her little river, looking after its wildlife, until one day when she first saw a human. It was a young man, and to Aquatica he was the most beautiful thing she’d ever seen. She instantly fell in love and, to the dismay of the other sprites, she put herself through an excruciating and permanent ritual that cut her bond with her river and allowed her to assume the shape of a human and walk among them. Once she had achieved human form, Aquatica went in search of the young man in order to profess her love and live with him forever. But although she could walk and talk like a human, she did not look much like one. She retained her water-blue skin and hair, and her wet composition. The young man was horrified at the creature who approached him, begging for his love. Scorned and full of regret, Aquatica roamed the countryside in search of some purpose to justify her turning away from the world of the sprites. She finally found it in the coastal city of Tucker’s Point. Witnessing a robbery, Aquatica used her water-manipulating abilities to foil the crime and protect the victims. She was instantly heralded as a heroine, and so she took up the job of a superhero.Pictures:

Blue BlazerParticipantAlias: Arachne
Real Name: Jocelin Chambers
Genre: Supervillain
Powers/Special Skills: none
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: controls eight enormous steel spider legs
Affiliations: none
Other Aliases: none
Status: inmate at Piedmont Women’s Penitentiary
Bio:
Jocelin was a scientist fascinated by spiders. Her biggest obsession was the endangered Golden Heart Tarantula, a rare species found only in one forest in South America. When she found out that the forest was scheduled to be stripped for lumber, Dr. Chambers personally flew down to stop it. She went as far as to physically lay down in front of the huge machinery with her own body. When a gear slipped and the machine rolled toward the forest anyway, Dr. Chambers’ legs were severed. With no more opposition to their plans, the loggers proceeded with the stripping, dropping Jaclyn off at a small local infirmary. The forest, and the last of the Golden Hearts, were destroyed. When Dr. Chambers awoke to find her legs gone and the spiders extinct, she swore murderous vengeance. Pulling a few strings in her research company, she was able to secretly have made for her a large robotic set of eight razor sharp, steel spider legs, in which she could sit and easily move around. From that moment, she has made it her mission to end the lives of everyone involved with the annihilation of the Golden Heart Tarantula.Pictures:

Blue BlazerParticipantAlias: Arana
Real Name: Miguel Torres
Genre: Supervillain
Powers/Special Skills: eight arms
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none
Affiliations: Sphinx Foundation
Other Aliases: none
Status: at large
Bio:
Miguel was a petty thief on the streets of Caligo. He did well at his job, but something inside of him craved to be better. After hearing of the Sphinx Foundation’s moral ambiguity in its business dealings, Miguel approached the corporation to strike a deal. If they could augment his abilities as a burglar, he would in turn commit crimes for them. He turned out to be exactly what they were looking for. Scientists at Sphinx had just developed a serum containing spider DNA. The theory was that if it was administered to a human, he or she would gain certain arachnid abilities, such as the power to climb up walls and generate a web. What they did not expect was that neither of those things would happen, or that something far more disturbing would. Over the next few days, Miguel, in a state of almost constant agony, grew six extra arms from his torso. Driven slightly mad by this transformation but still indebted to Sphinx, Miguel became Arana, the eight-armed criminal.Pictures:

Blue BlazerParticipantAlias: Arbor
Real Name: Toby Stephens
Genre: Superhero
Powers/Special Skills: able to turn into a humanoid tree
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none
Affiliations: The Honor Guard
Other Aliases: none
Status: active
Bio:
Toby’s power stems from an accidental overdose of the X-13 chemical during an operation to regrow his arm, which had been severed at the saw mill at which he worked. The idea behind the experimental procedure was that since plants can regrow their stems and branches, combining a fraction of that with Toby’s DNA could help him regain normality in his life. But the surgery worked all too well. Not only did Toby rapidly regrow his arm, but he was given the ability to turn into a man-like, mighty tree, giving him great strength, resistance to harm, and his healing factor. He was quickly recruited into the Honor Guard, the team sponsored by Mr. E and Powerhouse school. His day job at the school is teaching botany.Pictures:

Blue BlazerParticipantAlias: Arcade
Real Name: Tim Cox
Genre: Superhero
Powers/Special Skills: expert video gamer
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: able to control a virtual warrior or generate virtual weapons and armor via game suit
Affiliations: N-Force
Other Aliases: none
Status: active
Bio:
Tim was an average slacker in his early 20’s and an avid gamer. Every chance he got, he would be in front of one game console or another, lost in a virtual world that was always more exciting than his own. He had even made somewhat of a name for himself by competing in and often winning various gaming competitions. But Tim’s life took a drastic turn when he ordered the newest gaming system on the market. The system arrived at his house, a full body suit allowing Tim to be completely immersed in the games he installed on it. What Tim didn’t know at first was that his particular suit had been greatly modified by its creators, and that Tim was to be the test subject for a brand new form of technology. To his surprise, it created a Tim-sized virtual person who could interact in the real world at Tim’s command. Every movement Tim made while wearing the suit was mimicked by this entity. Though it was little more than a program, the being was tangible enough to physically manipulate objects.
Tim hit the streets with his virtual double and wowed crowds with its amazing abilities. Before long, he was asked to join the superhero team known as N-Force. Now he is able to send the virtual man into combat without immediate danger to himself. He also later gained the ability to create his own virtual weapons and armor with the suit.

ScatmanMemberFirst of all ..Big fan, second I am blown away by your thought out approach to your character design.I have to say I love your aracnid
brigade. Each one has a very unique quality to them. But that Arbor is somethin’ else!Love your approach to each creation and the way you think before you create as opposed to my approach which is to start creating and let it evolve itself.I am inspired to use your method toward some of my own creations,Not to take it,of course, but to apply it to my character design.”concept before creation”
Great stuff man!Keep it up!August 23, 2012 at 9:00 am #9829
ScatmanMemberPS. I think your backstories also need praise,Comic book or book worthy composition.I’d buy it!
