    Alias: Copycat
    Real Name: Janine Flagg
    Genre: Superhero
Powers/Special Skills: ability to shapesift to mimic any object or person she sees
    Affiliations: Citizens’ Hero League
    Other Aliases: none
    Status: active
    Bio:
In 2032, the technology-based company PresCorp discovered an amazing thing. By stimulating and manipulating the right genes, they could give a normal person amazing super powers temporarily. The effects lasted for about a week.
To collect as much on this breakthrough as they could, PresCorp created a daughter company called Venture, Inc. Venture offered the process to those who would pay for it (a hefty sum), and then kept them on a compound on an otherwise deserted island. They would create adventures in which these people could use their powers. It was exclusively for the sake of entertainment and profit, letting the rich and influential people of the country live out the fantasy of being a superhero for a short time. Lengthy background checks were performed to ensure that none of the customers would use their powers for evil, as well as a cancellor gate, which would void all powers when passed through.
There was a public outcry scolding Venture for making the experience so expensive and thus only for the wealthy, but no legal action could be carried out.
    But then the demons arrived.
To call them demons is probably a misnomer. They were really just beings from another dimension. They had found a way to cross to our world, and when they saw that we were physically inferior, the invasion began. It soon became clear that the world’s existing heroes were not enough. Therefore, the US military declared martial law over Venture, Inc.
The “hero surgery,” as it was known, suddenly became available to anyone for free, as long as they were willing to volunteer to help battle the armies of beasts. And thus, the Citizens’ League of Heroes was formed. Many different powers were offered, and all were given to these everyday working people. Thousands applied and most were accepted. They were each given a crash course on how to control and use their new found powers, and then they were sent to the fray. They were divided into teams of ten, each being led by a pre-existing superhero. Makeshift hospitals were set up near the battle lines so that the week long powers could be continued as long as was necessary. They fought until the menace was destroyed. Many died in the battles. The rest returned to their normal, mundane lives, but with the memory of being and doing something extraordinary.

Never fully happy with her self, Janine chose to be able to mimic others. Strangely, her power did not fade after her commitment to the CHL,a nd after extensive studies were made it was determined that she had been a mutant all the time but just needed a trigger. She is now still fighting crime as Copycat.

    Bio:
Stan has lived a hard life. For his entire childhood and most of his adult life, he has been unable to make skin-to-skin contact with anyone. Stan’s body produces an aura that is in excess of 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit, and anything within a few feet of him is immediately melted or burned. This mutation began when he was three. Since then, he has worn a futuristic hyper-cooling containment suit in order to be around other people. Until recently, he didn’t rememebr the last time he got a hug. Stan has lived a life of solitude.

However, he recently met the love of his life, Lady Invincible, whose body is impervious to heat, lightening, bullets, blades, most radiation, and sub zero temperatures. In short, she can touch Stan without being hurt in the least. Because of this, Stan has grown hopelessly attached. Although Lady Invincible usually puts up with his smothering affection, she has been known to get fed up with him and break off their relationship. But guilt always brings her back, because she knows that it was a long time before Stan could caress anyone.

Stan, who was inspired by Invincible to become a superhero and adopted the name Corona, can fire columns of heat or short blasts of it, which he laughingly refers to as “great balls of fire,” and he is impervious to his own heat and heat from other sources.

Corona was inducted into the Dynamo Alpha Red Team thanks to a recommendation by Lady Invincible.

Hey! My wife ‘Sunni D’ has the answer to whether deaf schizophrenics hear voices in their heads. They see signs. Just thought you’d like to know.

Seems legit. Although it naturally begs another question, that being how do deaf and blind schizophrenics “hear” voices in their heads?

Arthur, though a loyal member of the Clocksmen, had decided that he needed some rest and relaxation, and therefore was not among his fellow Clocksmen when they were killed by Chronos’s catastrophic wave of destruction through the time stream that killed the others, including Arthur’s best friend Clockwise. Racked with survivor’s guilt and bent on revenge, Arthur retired his Clocksman time suit and constructed his own, and went after Chronos by himself. Though he was nearly annihilated, Arthur was able to destroy the Clock of Changes, a millenia-old artifact that Chronos used to time travel, and he left the villain stranded in the distant past. His lifelong mission complete and his quest for vengeance at an end, Countdown dedicated the remainder of his life to fixing any discrepancies in the timeline.

Tactile illusions of Braille? Finding messages in the gravel? Imaginary Scentmonsters? Good question . . . Of course, the advantage to this is, that if a human has no senses we won’t be able to diagnose him with schizophrenia anyway, so we’ll never find out. Smile

I’m not sure that’s an advantage.
