Blue BlazerParticipantAlias: Blink
Real Name: Angie Maines
Genre: Superhero
Powers/Special Skills: teleportation
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none
Affiliations: Citizens’ Hero League
Other Aliases: none
Status: de-powered
Bio:
In 2032, the technology-based company PresCorp discovered an amazing thing. By stimulating and manipulating the right genes, they could give a normal person amazing super powers temporarily. The effects lasted for about a week.
To collect as much on this breakthrough as they could, PresCorp created a daughter company called Venture, Inc. Venture offered the process to those who would pay for it (a hefty sum), and then kept them on a compound on an otherwise deserted island. They would create adventures in which these people could use their powers. It was exclusively for the sake of entertainment and profit, letting the rich and influential people of the country live out the fantasy of being a superhero for a short time. Lengthy background checks were performed to ensure that none of the customers would use their powers for evil, as well as a cancellor gate, which would void all powers when passed through.
There was a public outcry scolding Venture for making the experience so expensive and thus only for the wealthy, but no legal action could be carried out.
But then the demons arrived.
To call them demons is probably a misnomer. They were really just beings from another dimension. They had found a way to cross to our world, and when they saw that we were physically inferior, the invasion began. It soon became clear that the world’s existing heroes were not enough. Therefore, the US military declared martial law over Venture, Inc.
The “hero surgery,” as it was known, suddenly became available to anyone for free, as long as they were willing to volunteer to help battle the armies of beasts. And thus, the Citizens’ League of Heroes was formed. Many different powers were offered, and all were given to these everyday working people. Thousands applied and most were accepted. They were each given a crash course on how to control and use their newfound powers, and then they were sent to the fray. They were divided into teams of ten, each being led by a pre-existing superhero. makeshift hospitals were set up near the battle lines so that the week long powers could be continued as long as was necessary. They fought until the menace was destroyed. Many died in the battles. The rest returned to their normal, mundane lives, but with the memory of being and doing something extraordinary.Angie chose teleportation as her power, because she had experienced many run-ins with her ex-husband in which she’d been unable to escape his painful abuse. She is the single mother of two twin daughters. She lost her powers after the war.

Blue BlazerParticipantAlias: Blitzkrieg
Real Name: Dolf Schuhmacher/Ernst Schuhmacher
Genre: Supervillain
Powers/Special Skills: super strength, durability; telepathic link with deceased father
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: large spiked club
Affiliations: The Fourth Reich
Other Aliases: none
Status: at large
Bio:Dolf was literally named after Hitler. His father, Ernst, was one of Der Fuhrer’s most loyal and dangerous weapons. Ernst had hated everything except for Hitler and his wife, who died giving birth to Dolf. When this happened, just after the end of World War II, Ernst threw himself into continuing the mission of his now dead leader, and more or less ignored Dolf. When he died, the boy was relieved.
Until he started to hear his father’s voice again.
It called to him ceaselessly, beckoning him to dig up the elder Schuhmacher’s body so he could continue his work. Dolf did his best to ignore the voice, but soon it became too much to bear, and one night he removed his father’s long-dead corpse from its grave and, at its command, removed the skull and replaced the body into the ground. Ernst then instructed his son to fashion his skull into a helmet, which Dolf was meant to wear. When he did, the link between between him and his dead father became stronger, and Dolf was imbued with twice his normal strength. The hateful old man continuously chipped away at Dolf’s usually gentle nature, driving him to become a mad and violent man.
Now Dolf, who speaks to the silent skull he wears on his own head, has joined the ranks of Baron Brunwald’s Fourth Reich, a Neo-Nazi group dedicated to renewing Hitler’s devious plans for the world.

Blue BlazerParticipantAlias: Blood Brother
Real Name: Janjak Moreau
Genre: Supervillain
Powers/Special Skills: blood manipulation via dark magic
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: sword
Affiliations: The Black Menagerie
Other Aliases: none
Status: at large
Bio:
Haitian-born Janjak and his twin sister Saraphina immigrated to the United States when they were young adults, bringing with them an uncanny knack for the art of voodoo. They settled, like many of their kind, in the bayous of Louisiana, where they continued to hone their skills in black magic. Eventually, they emerged from the swamps as Blood Brother and Zydeco, respectively, and unleashed a terrifying wave of destruction in their wake. When they escaped two years later, they realized they needed more firepower, so they began recruiting other villains of the voodoo variety, forming the Black Menagerie.Pictures:

Blue BlazerParticipantAlias: Bloodbath
Real Name: Slane Sawyer
Genre: Atomic Gladiator
Powers/Special Skills: enormous size, strength, durability
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: two large battle axes
Affiliations: The Association of Superhuman Wrestling
Other Aliases: none
Status: active
Bio:
Slane’s mutant gene asserted itself when he hit puberty, and it was downhill from there. He loved the fear and destruction he could cause with his massive size and strength. In the end, though, he just sort of got bored with it. When the ASW was formed, allowing superhumans to battle it out on national television for money, he was one of the first to join up and he instantly became an audience favorite. You would think he would be the undisputed champion at all times, but in this game, brute strength doesn’t always give you the definitive advantage. Now he can still be destructive, but he gets paid significantly and legally for it and he is a beloved celebrity. Best of all worlds.Pictures:
