Just a quickie post today too share with you all the first official trailer for the live action adaptation of the Anime Ghost In The Shell staring Scarlet Johanson.

In the course of this testing I’m realizing how long it’s been since I drew anything. Good lord.

Your challenge this week is to design the second member of the ILJ: Britannia

Britannia aka Sarah Hirst, is from Manchester, England and teamed up with Major Patriot in late 1941, following the attack on Pearl Harbour. While she has no superpowers to speak of, she is an expert markswoman and tracker.

Rules for posts, contests, and challenges: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warning. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.

All entries must be in JPG or PNG form (BMPs are too big), posted to a publicly accessible website (like the HeroMachine :,ImageShack, PhotoBucket, or whatever);

• Entries must be made as a comment or comments to this post, containing a link directly to the image and the character name;
• Please name your filesas [your name]-[character name].[file extension] before you upload it. So DiCicatriz, for instance, would save his “Bayou Belle” character image as DiCicatriz-BayouBelle.png.

This will be my last Kaldath Health Update post! I have offically returned to work! Yep I have suited up in my niffty Security Officer uniform and just finished my first shift since June 5th. I am a bit disappointed I was unable to return to the job site I had before getting sick which was less then a mile from my home, but dispite the increased distance this new site doesn’t seem so bad. 

Hey guys, JR here again. Since last weeks Artist’s Foibles got a good response, I thought you might enjoy another one. If you like this one, I’m sure there’s a way we can arrange for some more to happen.

Hey guys, JR here. Sorry, no Top 10 List today. I’ve been very busy and haven’t had a chance to put one together yet. There may be one later on in the week, but I’m not promising anything. To make up for this, we’re going to try something new (I say that a lot) and have a guest post by long-time community member Herr D. Well folks we have a good new bad news situation here, though mostly good news. I have been discharged from Hyperbaric treatments early because my foot has already healed up, and if it is still considered “healed” next week at my wound care appointment I will be discharged from wound care also. The Bad new is that my regular doctor thinks I have a bulging disc in my back and will be sending me to physical therapy to treat it. My back is causing me a great deal of pain, resulting from a fall I took right after being discharged from the hospital. In any event things are certainly looking up for me healthwise even if pain is still an issue at this point.
