Caption Contest 117: The Vow!

Your challenge this week is to come up with the best replacement dialog for this comics panel (which comes to us courtesy of the always awesome Glenn3's "Say What?" PhotoBucket site):

The best entry (as judged by yours truly) wins the author's choice of either any item they like or any portrait to be included in HeroMachine 3′s final release, or a custom black and white “Sketch of the Day” style illustration (you pick the subject, I draw it however I like).

All entries must be left as a comment (or comments) to this post. Keep ‘em clean (appropriate for a late-night broadcast TV show), but most importantly, keep ‘em funny!

We're going to mix it up this week and say there's no limit to entries, but please, self-edit and only put up ones you genuinely think are funny!

Many thanks to everyone who entered Caption Contest 16! I rounded up what I thought were the funniest submissions for this "Archie" comics panel:

  • Jason22274: Hmmm, looks like Veronica assigned him more “homework.”
  • Hammerknight: ”Good thing we bolted the TV to the wall.”
  • Vampyrist: Archie, Don’t go into the light
  • Dr. Shrinker: I told that boy a re-match was a bad idea.
  • Syntax: That’s an…Interesting safeword.
  • Myro: “I should remind myself not to throw out that lamp.”
  • Myro: “Archie, when I told you to turn that lamp on, I didn’t mean sexually.”
  • E350: Now, son, when I said you needed to ‘lighten up…’

It's tough to pick out just one, but that's why they pay me the big bucks. Oh, wait, I don't get paid any bucks any more ... oh well, the job still needs to be done. So therefore our winner is ... Myro!

Caption Contest 113 generated some of the funniest lines we've seen in a long time, filling in the missing dialog in this classic "Superman" cover:
