It's interesting the difference hiding the result makes. Looking at the results of the preliminary round, you'd think it obvious who our winner would be, but actually the complete opposite is true. It was fairly close between four of our contenders, but our winner just ran away with the vote.
As previously, I'll run down our top three in ascending order.

So, the preliminary polls have closed and we've narrowed down the winners of all of the CDC's this year to just 5, the winners of the preliminary polls and the highest voted second place. You now have until Christmas Eve to decide which of these images will be crowned Character Of The Year and enter the Heromachine Hall Of Fame. And to make things more interesting, I've hidden the results on the poll, don't want our contenders knowing how they're doing now do we.

So, I'm going to give this weeks CDC win to superfly30 for their interpretation of Mr. Jaggers from Great Expectations. The reason I chose this one was because not only did it feel the most complete entry this week, but it also kept the closest to the source material. The character actually looks like you could imagine him looking from the authors description of him. So congrats to superfly and well done to everyone who entered.

So, it's that time of the year again. It's December, and that means you guys can have some polls and decide which of this years CDC winners deserves to be crowned our Character Of The Year. The winner gets put in the Hall Of Fame.
There are four polls and you can votes for as many pictures in each poll as you want. The polls will close on the 17th, so we can have our final four (or five if one of the polls is tied) in a poll for the week up to Christmas Eve.
