The winning entries for all HeroMachine contests.

Character Design Contest ♯82 (Silver Age) Winner

This weeks poll was close all week, with the top four being within a few votes of each other up until last night, when the top 2 pulled ahead by a couple of votes. Still, there was only a vote between the top 2 anyway, but only one could come out on top. And that person was Vampyrist for Doc Starr. Congrats Vamp and well done to everyone else who entered.

Character Design Contest ♯81 (Golden Age)- Winner

This weeks poll was very close between two entries right from the start. And it was only around Thursday that our eventual winner actually took the lead. And that winner is Candruth, for The Silver Siren. Congrats Candruth, please talk to dblade about your prize, and well done to everyone else who entered.

Character Design Contest ♯80 (Steampunk)- Winner

It's been a while since we broke the 200 votes mark for a CDC poll. We've come close a few times but we haven't done it since CDC 68 back in April. But this week we broke it, which is brilliant. But that's enough rambling from me because we have a winner to announce. ANd that winner is Nug for his Violinist. Congrats Nug, please speak to dblade about your prize, and well done to everyone who entered, especially our finalists.

Considering I didn't know how well this contest was going to be received, I think it turned out alright, don't you? Anyway, remember, Open Image In New Tab is your friend here, because y'all need to see these in full size. Good thing I'm not voting, because I think my brain would explode trying to decide.

Character Design Contest ♯79 (Inspired By Music 2) Winner

I love doing the inspired by music CDCs, almost as much as I love the fashion show CDCs. I love seeing how people interpret music, and last weeks contests showed that off to a fantastic extent. And I also love the fact that the winner was the person who chose to represent an over 10 minute long song with heromachine, rather wonderfully I might add. So it gives me great pleasure to say something that hasn't been said in a while, this weeks winner is Cliff, for his representation of Perfect Sunset and Midori's Secrets; Creation. Congrats Cliff, please make sure you speak to dblade about your prize, and well done to everyone who entered, I loved seeing you art and listening to the music that inspired it.

I would advise people to listen to the songs that inspired these pieces when making their decision. Some of the choices make more sense when put into context.

Anarchangel's song- Lykke Li- Love Me Like I'm Not Made Of Stone

Cliff's song- Perfect Sunset & Midori- Secrets

Son4's song- Prince- The Future (Remix)

Stulte's song- Mussorgsky- Night On Bald Mountain

Vectorman's song- The Sword- Freya

Character Design Contest ♯78 (Strike A Pose)- Winner

This weeks poll, right from the very start, was a three horse race in terms of the votes. At one point mid-week it was even a three way tie, but it eventually spaced out to finish with a ten vote margin covering the top three (that's ten points between first and third, half the points that covered first to second last week). But only one person could come out on top. And that person was Gargantua for their entry demon. Congrats Gargantua, please go speak to dblade about your prize if you so wish, and congratulations to everyone else who entered, there were some fantastic entries.
