Mod Note: Ok, so before anyone says anything in the comments, I chose these entries for the poll on how well I felt the represented the song they had chosen and only on that criteria. You might disagree, but that's just how things go sometimes. So please, listen to the songs before you vote, because something being on the poll that didn't make sense before may do after listening to the songs.

Well that was an eggs-tremely good contest, full of eggs-ellent entries (and eggs-cruciating puns) and the poll was particularly hard boiled, I mean fought. But I can't say the result was un-eggs-pected, considering our winner had the lead from pretty much the first day. In fact, one might even say that he found this poll… over easy (ba dum bum tish). So, coming out sunny side up this week is Nug for his Dragon Egg. Congratulations Nug and well done to everyone else who entered. As your prize I shall now stop making terrible egg puns (even though it is great fun).

So, we've actually got a repeat winner in the fantasy CDC's now. And it's surprising to think that before her win a few weeks ago, her last CDC win was in June last year. But anyway, this weeks winner is Candruth for her Shot In the Dark. Congrats Candruth and well done to everyone who entered.

I think everyone should be worried about the result of this weeks contest. Not only did our winner once again steamroller the poll, but they also picked up their third win of the year in the process. Now, we did have someone manage three contest wins last year, but they had to wait almost thirty contests between their first and second wins, whereas this person has managed three wins within ten contests, so that bodes ominously for everyone else who wants to enter a contest in the future. Because they're going to have to hope that they aren't going up against AMS, whose Rogue Ninja won this weeks poll by a fair margin, as per usual. Congrats AMS, and well done to everyone else who entered.

Honourable Mentions: Ubiquitous Pixel and Cliff

We didn't manage to quite get the turn out for this poll as we did last week, but we still managed to accumulate a fair number of votes. And it wasn't a steamroller victory, though our winner was comfortably in the lead for the whole week. And that winner is Candruth for her Healing Words. Congrats Candruth (it's been a while hasn't it?) and well done to all our other entrants.

This weeks poll got over 250 votes in total, which is a record for a CDC poll (if we exclude CDC97, because that was an anomaly to say the least) and, as you might expect with voting numbers so high, the poll was close. Our winner only won by 9 votes from 2nd, who was a further 11 votes ahead of 3rd, giving us a nice and neat 20 votes covering the top 3. However, I'm sure no-one will be surprised with who the winner is. And that winner is Guy Genesis for his amazing Jaquis Kobar. Congratulations Guy and well done to everyone else who entered, whether they made the poll or not.
