Ok guys, we're on to our final week of the Four Classical Elements theme and, therefore, on to the final element. Now this one is the most ambiguous of the four in terms of definition. Is it just the earth, as in the ground beneath our feet, does it extend to rocks and therefore mountains and the like, or does it go even further to include plant-life as well? I'll let you decide I think. It's more interesting that way.
As per usual, no limits on entries and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.

This week was quite close, only 7 votes (and seas) between the top two places. At this point I'd love to say that it was back and forth between the two all week, with the winner only pulling out ahead at the last minute, but that didn't happen. It was catch up game for everyone this week, as our winner lead from the start, never extending his lead too far but always comfortably in front. And that winner is Vampyrist for his Black Water. Congrats Vamp and well done to everyone who entered.

Ok, first things first, sorry there wasn't a COTW post last week. There wasn't a huge amount posted on the forums last week and that, coupled with a lack of time on my end, meant that I wasn't able to do one. As for this week, well, still not a huge amount in terms of stuff that was posted (so I won't be doing an Also Awesome), but I do have a bit of time, so here it is. And this week we are once again featuring Anarchangel, and, if I'm being honest, I'm a bit disappointed that I'm having to feature this on COTW rather than in the contest poll, because for whatever reason, double A hasn't entered it. No idea why. The costume is, as usual, really nicely designed, a few rough joins on some of the patterns around the neck and chest area but nothing too major. The pose really gives off a floating, free vibe, enhanced by the blowing capes. And I like the lightness of the colours as well, white and gold always work well together, especially on a character with a mystical, light style.

The third element in or Classical Elements contest theme, this week I want you guys to create a character or scene that represents air. Now, the first two elements were quite straight forward, but our last two are likely not going to be as simple, so I'll just leave it up to your interpretation on how you handle this contest. Lets just say, it's gonna be a bit up in the air.

This weeks poll was very hotly contested, which is to be expected when you have contestants who are both literally and figuratively on fire. I was actually expecting it to be a walkover for our eventual winner, but it wasn't, he was run close for most of the week by second place and even at the end of the week all entries were covered by 25 votes, which isn't much. We've had polls where there's been 25 votes between first and second. But anyway, the flame that burned brightest in this contest was the man who I now believe has the outright highest number of wins for CDC's, Mr AMS and his amazing entry, It comes from fire. Congrats AMS and well done to everyone who entered.
