CDC #435 – Go West!

Ages ago there was a CDC that asked Machiners to create an iconic character that would be right at home in a western film. Above is Bloody Mary – my entry – the ruthless madam of the local brothel.

So whether you choose the local sheriff, a dastardly cattle rustler, a grim undertaker or whatever…your challenge this week is to create a unique and iconic character that would be found in a classic Hollywood western.

The winner this week will receive my version of their design rendered in glorious HM3.

Please follow the instructions below regarding the naming of entries.

CDC #434 – The Joker is here – Results

Interesting week this week. Some great circus themed entries, just a little light on the villainy.

Honourable mention goes to HerrD for Rube.

The colour and composition is great - just a little hard to judge as a "character design challenge|" That being said do not change a thing. No one else does what you do, or brings such creativity to HM3.

Runner up is Human Pincushion by Kellkin.

A great rendering of a circus themed character, but again, kind of light on the villainy. Perhaps if his villain name was Voodoo and he could cause pain in others by piercing his own skin. Just an idea.

And the win this week goes to...

So in honour of the clown prince of crime, we are taking a trip to the circus this week. Your challenge is to create a unique and memorable villain based on characters –except for clowns - traditionally found inhabiting a traditional circus – except for clowns; ie: Ringmaster, side show freaks, strongman, etc. Did I mention no clowns?

The winner this week will receive my version of their design rendered in glorious HM3.

CDC #434 – Pimp My Post Apocalyptic Ride! – Results

Well I have to say I am surprised. I thought this contest would have people clambering to enter. Just goes to show that I don't know much...but I know what I like and I like all the entries this week; from Kellkin's post apocalyptic semi to HerrD's TacV. All brilliant! But two entries rang all the post apocalyptic bells for me.

First is runner up GW's Spiker

Great use of items and the colour choices are dead on.

And this week's winner...
