WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantThanks for the suggestions. I deleted the original post since there was nothing to see. I’m going to wait until I get more familiar with this. I downloaded Google Chrome and that browser supported HM3. The 2 characters I made have a few mistakes that I will try to repair and if I can’t, I’ll post them and maybe someone will have an idea to correct what they see wrong. I’m having a hard time with the masking trying to put weapons in the hand instead of over it. Also, am I correct in assuming that Classic and 2.5 creations will not appear here? Those are what I originally tried to put up.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantThanks, again. BTW, if anyone is interested, check out my Soul Calibur 3 creations on Youtube.com/wmdbassplayer. As always, I really appreciate the feedback. I’m a musician, not a graphic artist, but I have a lot of fun making up characters in video games with customization.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantWhile I’m trying to figure my way around here, I hope I don’t violate any boundaries, especially over posting. After trying Kaldath’s latest suggestions, I hope these Classic and 2.5 characters show up. Here we go again!

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantI had to relocate my self portrait, so as not to go against the rule of too many threads. Still learning, here! Anyway, as I said before, this is a fair representation of how I really look, minus the tat. And though I have 4 basses, I don’t own a Rickenbacker!

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantAfter reading some other people’s backstories for their characters, I’m trying my hand. This is the second character I’m trying to provide a backstory for instead of just a general description.
Not much is publicly known about Maidenhead, except that she is one of the strongest women on Earth and uses that strength to bring swift, terrible justice to evil doers, with a particularly strong bias against those who abuse women and display misogynist tendencies. Many believe she was raised by Celtic Druids, others think she is an immortal ancient Roman priestess or oracle. Maidenhead herself has forgotten her land of origin and how old she really is. What she knows for sure and has learned of herself over her vast lifetime is that she was already ancient when Stonehenge was a budding idea in a long gone architect’s mind. That the tribe from which she came was long dead when the Sphinx and the Pyramids gleamed brightly in the desert with their original limestone coverings. That she is a mutant blessed with superhuman strength, agility, invulnerability and regenerative powers . And that her strength and eternal youth is tied to her virginity. Yes, Maidenhead, who is thousands of years old, has never known the touch of a man. She noticed early in her life she was stronger than most of those in her tribe and that she could defeat the mightiest warriors with ease. With the onset of puberty, she noticed a great decrease in her strength as she allowed herself feelings of attraction for a male. It can only be assumed she manage to remain a virgin by virtue of her great willpower as well as her physical strength. She has vast knowledge of arcane lore from around the world and in modern times has increased her knowledge of genetics in an attempt to better understand the nature of her power. For obvious reasons, she shares no details of herself with the other superhumans she has encountered, though she will ally herself with others for a greater cause.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantAfter giving it some thought, I decided to remove Iron Maiden to avoid any potential copyright trouble. But here’s Iron Tiger and his pet Claw.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantBrainjack: Kevin Chung was just a normal kid, who happened to be really smart. Unfortunately, being really smart is never considered cool among high school cliques and if you’re not built like a football player, you’re pretty much a target for bullying. Except, one day, a bully suddenly dropped dead in the middle of his daily “pick on the geek” ritual. The official word was that the kid had a heart attack brought about by his use of illegal substances. While that seemed to satisfy everyone, (after all, what could the skinny, little twerp Kevin do to cause a heart attack in this big bully), Kevin was wracked with guilt. Because, while being beaten by that bully, all Kevin kept thinking was, “I wish this guy would just drop dead!” Unknown to him, Kevin is more than just really smart. He is a mutate with genius level intellect, (his last IQ test score was 196), and a telepath. He has the potential to be the greatest telepath the world has known, but all he is focusing on is getting through high school, entering college and gaining another 20 or so pounds.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantIn case anyone couldn’t figure it out by looking at my characters, I really have a thing for voluptuous Black women! That said, here is a generic Amazon I just came up with.

HarlekinMemberHello in the forum.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantFirst, I would like to say again, as I’ve mentioned several times, I’m a musician, not a graphic artist. With the exception of a somewhat decent eye for photography, I am not very visually artistic. That being said, I would like to dedicate all of my creations on Hero Machine to a close high school friend, Mylen Williams. Mylen was a very talented artist who wanted to draw for Marvel, and he was that good that I’m sure he would have reached that goal. Sadly, he was killed in a car accident and did not live to see 20. He would have LOVED Hero Machine! I’m sorry I lost the artwork he gave me all those years ago. Anyway, here is my second attempt at Dark Cherub with HM3. I left off the weapon because I could not get the masking to work, though it fell right into place with the Amazon I did earlier. I have sort of a connection to this character because I first came up with the concept as a custom fighter in Soul Calibur 4. I love gaming with a preference for fighters and shooters. Anyway, the story of Dark Cherub is that she is a twin mutant. Cherub, her sister, favors good and her look reflects that, having white wings. Dark Cherub embraced the dark side of her powers and as she matured, her appearance changed to match her evil heart. This of course put her at constant odds with her sister. Dark Cherub grew to regret her choice and wishes to reconcile with her sister. In time, maybe… Hi,Harlequin. I love your artwork!

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantNo backstory for this one. This is the HM3 reworked version of a character I originally did on 2.5. I wasn’t sure if she (the original version) would be going against the copyright rule, so I didn’t post her. Then after clarification on another character for the same issue, I posted her. I still felt a little nervous and took her down. Here is Stainless Steel, the remade version. Now that I think on it, I could have done better with the color scheme. Next is the original 2.5 version. If she’s too iffy, I’m sure Kaldath or Hammerknight will let me know.

HammerknightParticipantHere is the way to do this, “IF” “you think” that it is, on the line, risky, iffie, close because of the color scheme, looks a lot like, is based off of, within the ball park, could be their twin/ brother/ sister/mom/dad/ great uncle’s second cousin” next door neighbor’s aunt’s best friend, might get removed, is close but maybe they won’t notice, just to cool and you are doing to post it any way just to get someone to look at it before it is removed, or that is is really close and you don’t care about the rules, then you may not want to post it. It is a lot easier to ask Kaldath or me about it in the first place.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantGot you, Hammerknight. Is Iron Maiden too much?
