This will be a random challenge – it could be anything, like take this piece and show me what you can do with it, a redesign or design or even a theme contest, or something Random. It will run from Thursday to 1am (ish) Friday I will nominate the best of the weekly challenge to Hero of the month for the month, LATE Entries will be fight against other LATE Entries in the “left ladder,” which I will judge at the end of the month, so If life hands you lemons (a term paper, sick dog, sick YOU, you’re travelling whatever), you can still enter the “left ladder” contest!

I’m not sure whether it would be easier to make it look like the character turned after impact with the horseshoe having come from somewhere to the viewers right, or maybe an odd bounce brought it from further away? I do love this concept,
And he is right, it lacks perspective- how you redesign it, what MUST you keep?~ I am open to anything!Two entries for this week, Herr D and NHA247~ this was like comparing apples to airplanes! That being said I wanted to declare Herr’s the winner, because it told the STORY so well, BUT WHEN I went back to my instructions and looked at what I had written, NHA’s became to good to deny!

Contest # 2 As we have now entered the time of Carnivale (I always thought the whole thing was called mardi gras, nope, Just the LAST DAY) this contest is an easy one, Show me you Carnivale Costume- and bare in mind this party has a different TONE than Halloween!

Everything I know about Mardi Gras comes from Live and Let Die and The Princess and the Frog xD
Anyway, here’s what I came up with after some light googleing.

Weilyn~ the colors are spot on for Marti Gras, and you set the bar REALLY high this week!
Herr D~ I could easily see this outfit IRL in brazi, and ironically i was thinking of doing a music contest in the future, Interesting use of the mask, and the insigna!
