The Sidekicks are a band of former sidekicks who are fed up with following the orders of heroes who never listen to their ideas and treat them like inferiors. They have banded together to form their own team of crime fighters.
The Crackerjack Kid is the former sidekick of the Freedom Four; he spent most of his time running errands for the four brothers, watching them grab all of the glory for their victories and giving him no credit; he finally took his dress blues and split.
