Cheshire, the mischievous cat from Alice in Wonderland, exists in the pocket dimension called the Book of Fables, a world containing all of the settings and characters from every fairy tale ever written. This world is under the domain of the wicked Faerie Queen, and Cheshire, always the opportunist, has placed himself in her employ as a messenger and spy. But though he has taken an oath of fidelity to the evil queen, Cheshire can always be persuaded to help out anyone in the Book of Fables, if the price is high enough and the results are interesting enough.
