“Just keep at it.” That’s the best advice I think anyone can give. AMS is the shiznit for learning some shading. I first seen it done by Scatman, and didn’t discover AMS’s skills until later on. I like your idea about the mirror, but I’m disabled and couldn’t possibly move some of the ways I pose characters. True story though… the silhouette in the “Ace of Hearts” was inspired by my wife and myself. Thank you for your comment WMD! I hope others get something from it as well.
