His real name is David Francis. But he usually goes by the name Burnout, a mutant hero with a strange ability. He is able to “flash fry” his enemies, causing their exposed blood to ignite and burn them from the inside out. Because their blood must be exposed to the air, Burnout carries a pair of knives with him. The smallest cut on a person gives him access to their bloodstream. He wears a metal face shield to protect his face and eyes from the brilliant flash of the fires he creates.
