If you could count cards correctly, you would be able to determine what cards other players had. Thus, if you played your blackjack opponents carefully you could earn some serious money off of your bet. When the first blackjack counters began appearing in card rooms at the beginning of 2000, more people started to take advantage of the fact that dealers didn't have a complete deck. This made the dealer not just think that he had to deal with more players, but that he was dealing with several decks of cards that were different stacks. Since counting cards was extremely difficult for the original players, the math was eventually worked out by those who devised ways to keep track of the cards that the dealer dealt. These methods eventually became the basis for the card counting techniques that are still in use today. The most popular variant of this classic game is called Caribbean Stud Poker. The Caribbean Stud Poker is a card game where players are dealt nine cards. One from every one of the four suits. To get to 21, the aim is to hit high-triples or hit five, a pair or more single cards. The standard version, where the dealer distributes the deck on the table, and then hands it back to players, is also available.
