Bruce was once a soldier in Satan’s army in Hell, until he had a bizarre change of heart. He decided to stop being evil and try helping people, so he escaped from Hell, bringing along his armor and pitchfork. He made quite a scene when he finally clawed his way up to Earth, being 8 feet tall, red, and horned, but he was hidden away by an old professor and occult expert. The professor, hearing the demon’s desire to be a hero, convinced him to travel the world with him, seeking out other “monsters” who wanted to turn over a new leaf. Gang member Damien was on death row for the murder of countless people in Caligo. Considered one of the most heartless men in American history, he had no fear of his impending death. But just a weak before he was scheduled to die, Damien was broken out of prison and brought to the secret headquarters of the shady organization known as the Sphinx Foundation. In exchange for his freedom, Damien agreed to undergo a surgery that grafted four large metal spider-like limbs onto his back, and his own body’s physical strength was heightened so as to be able to carry the extra weight. When the ordeal was over, Damien emerged anew as the Brown Recluse, and has been working as an agent of Sphinx ever since.Pictures:

Brook is the half-sister of River, who is a hero member of the Defenders. River and Brook are both daughters of the aqua-villain Fathom, who is the son of Aquarius, leader of the Celestials. When River was born, she was put into the care of her mother and raised a loving, good person. But two years later, Brook was born of a different mother, and Fathom stole her away to raise her to help him commit crimes and spread chaos across the country. An X-13 experiment combining heavyweight boxer Nick Legree and a tub of liquid hot magma produced the psychotic villain Brimstone. His body is now hardened, burnt rock, seering to the touch, and he is able to become fluid in order to access tighter spaces. The experiment was performed without Nick’s permission. It has been established that it was not the work of the M.A.C.H.I.N.E. but a much darker organization. It is possible that Brimstone is mentally controlled by this organization to do its evil bidding. Troy was a brick mason for a small construction company when the neighborhood in which they were building was bombarded by a cloud of the chemical X-13. Because Troy was in physical contact with a pile of bricks, his body assumed the same composition. Now he is extremely durable and super strong. Lazy by nature, Troy became a bank robber simply so he wouldn’t have to do real work to earn money. Brick went on to coach football at Caligo High and is now an old man with 4 ex-wives and a beer gut who still harbors a resentment for all things super. Buck was once the owner and sole member of 1-800-I-SAVE-U, an emergency hotline where victims called him to fix their problems, for a price. Most of Buck’s customers were old ladies with lost cats and bored rich housewives. But every now and then Buck would get to face off against a real threat, such as one of Caligo’s hundreds of supervillains. He barely eked out a living, until he heard about the newly formed Association of Superhuman Wrestling, a superhuman-only fighting league. He went to the open audition, and discovered that he could really bring in the dollars in the ASW. Dave is the last of the long line of the inhabitants of the lost city of Atlantis. He was unaware of his ancestry until he was visited one night by his great grandfather’s ghost and told of his destiny as a hero of mankind. In it is the last of the water contained within the Atlantean Vial of Eternity, which grants him amazing powers over man and sea.
